This course has a very nice seashore panorama (Cypress point) but you don't see it up close too often on this par 71, where the back 9 is more challenging than the front 9 with plenty of downhill/uphill shots over ponds and lakes, and where greens have some tricky little slopes.
After a nice right dogleg par-4 1st hole, with an uphill approach shot to the green, the right dogleg par-5 2nd is a little bit tough, with trees in the corners as you tee off and as you try to reach the green, slightly to the left.
The left dogleg par-4 3rd hole is pretty with its slanted fairway and big ponds (along with a couple of fountains and a few rocks) on both sides of the fairway (around the corner) and its uphill approach shot to the green, just like the par-4 4th, straight but nice with a donwnhill tee shot and a steep elevated green.
Then, after the right dogleg par-4 7th hole, and its uphill green, you will reach the scenic par-3 8th, with a very tall tree in front of the green (on the left), partially hiding the green, surrounded by four bunkers (and with a nice panoramic view), before finishing the front 9 with the left dogleg par-4 9th, all the way downhill to the green and its multi-colored clubhouse behind.
The back 9 has a lot of rollercoaster holes with plenty of water hazards, starting with the left dogleg par-4 10th, with a slightly-uphill tee shot and a wide serpentine lake on the left near the green, followed by the right downhill dogleg par-4 11th hole, not too difficult but with a tee shot over a lake.
The par-5 13th hole is quite nice, with a tee shot landing (hopefully) a little bit in front of a lake across the fairway, and a steep uphill approach shot over it to reach the elevated green, partially hidden by trees to the right, just like the right dogleg par-4 14th, quite scenic with a tee shot over the lake.
The scenery changes again with the left dogleg par-4 15th hole, this time with an uphill tee shot over the lake and two small bunkers on the other side on the left, before moving back inland with the left dogleg par-4 16th, with a heavily-slanted fairway all the way down to the green.
Then, after the par-3 17th hole, where you will be hitting a steep uphill (and blind) tee shot to reach the green, with a big bunker in fron (on the right), you will complete your round with the nice right dogleg par-4 18th, all the way downhill to the green with a big pond on the right side of the green to avoid in order to reach the green and head for the clubhouse behind, right after !
St Regis Lakes is quite pleasant to play (even with its so many paths !), but I agree with PhilT's comments regarding the lack of pictures on this course : for some unknown reason(s), some designers do not include screenshots which is a "shame" as they would certainly give some indications to potential players to download (or not) some of their creations...

I would download more of your courses if you put up some good screenshots OF THE COURSE, here you have 3 pics and only one is of your course, it helps to get an idea of the layout etc etc.
