Using only 5 libraries, barrylb37 designed a very challenging course, albeit not too spectacular visually, where you will have to think twice before hitting your shots, with plenty of very undulating fairways, subtle elevation changes, quite a few doglegs, and with a few small trees and some water hazards (not to mention well-placed elongated and/or wide bunkers) near and around the greens. After the right dogleg par-4 1st hole, with an elongated pond on the right of the fairway, halfway, and another one on the right of the green (with a wide bunker also on the left), you will move on the very tough par-5 3rd, where you will face a steep tiered fairway, split across halfway by a “wall” of deep rough, making it almost impossible to go over it with your tee shot (unless you hit a perfect shot !), “forcing” you to hit a blind second shot over it (hopefully landing onto the winding and undulating fairway) and a short shot downward to the green, slightly to the left (with a few bunkers to watch for). Fortunately, the right dogleg par-4 4th hole is a little bit easier, with an uphill tee shot landing onto a slanted fairway (with a big elongated bunker in the corner) and a downhill approach to the green, guarded by another wide bunker in front on the right, just like the par-3 5th, slightly uphill, with an elongated bunker in front (and to the left) and a smaller one behind the green. The picturesque left dogleg par-5 6th hole is one of my favorites, with a tee shot over an elongated lake on the left, followed by a second shot over it again, and a third one to the green, partially hidden by small trees in the left corner, with another small pond on the left, and a bunker on the right. The next two holes are pretty too : the par-4 7th is a right dogleg with a slightly downhill tee shot and an uphill approach over a serpentine creek toward the green, with a half moon-shaped bunker in front (and to the left), and the par-4 8th hole is a left dogleg, downhill all the way to the green, with a tee shot over the meandering creek and a second shot (again above the water) to reach the green, with a small elongated bunker in front and a bigger one on the left. You will finish the front 9 with a par-4 hole, again downhill all the way, with an undulating fairway and a big elongated bunker, halfway on the left, and a green, with a big elongated bunker on the right and two smaller ones on the left (and with a nice little old clubhouse on the right). The back 9 starts with a “bang”, with a very long (625 yards) and downhill left dogleg par-5 10th hole, with a very undulating and winding fairway (with a few bunkers along the way), and a tiny green ! Then, after the nice little par-3 11th hole, with a tee shot over an elongated pond, you will walk over to the left dogleg par-4 12th, with a tee shot landing near a wide lake on the left, over which you will have to hit your approach to reach the green, really close to the edge... More water awaits you on the scenic left dogleg par-3 13th hole, with a tee shot over a meandering creek landing near a wide lake in front (and to the right) and a second shot over a little part of it to reach the green, and on the par-3 14th, with a tiny green, framed by a big elongated bunker on the left and the lake on the right. The par-4 15th hole is not to be overlooked either, with a tee shot over a wide lake (mostly of the right) and a green, near the edge of the second part of the lake (on the left), unlike the easier right dogleg par-4 16th, slightly uphill all the way. But the last two holes are very tough, especially as you approach the greens : the par-5 17th is a right dogleg, with a slightly-uphill tee shot and a very long downhill and blind approach to the green (hard to reach), partially hidden by a few trees in the way (on the right) and with a small pond (to the left) and two small elongated bunkers (to the right), whereas the par-4 18th hole is a left dogleg, with a tee shot landing near a small bunker in the middle of the downhill and undulating fairway, and with another tough downhill approach to the green, with a small pond (to the right) and a big bunker (to the left) ! If the small hilly panorama is rather "ordinary", this Walker Flats GC is anything but... flat, and you will have to really concentrate on your approach shots if you want to finish with a decent score on this nice fantasy course, well-designed by barrylb37...

I can only echo what has already been said , a really pretty course that plays tough but fair, 3 click advanced with wind gives it an especially realistic feel, many thanks for sharing this beauty .

This course is greatly designed. The fairways and green are fair and challenging no matter what conditions are set. Excellent job Barry on designing a tough but playable course for the golfer who thinks about his shots.

Course is a peach to look at....Very nice work on the textures, they blend so nice and the views from the tee's are very natural. Tough course with a little wind added especially on the holes with water. Top Notch Barry.

Finally played the course in its entirety. LAN/dry/breezy. Some would grouse about the rough that is only labeled "rough", but I think we all have to play out of it so it makes it a bit more interesting. Great FPS, just an outstanding course. TYVM barry!

This is an extremely nice course it plays very tough but fair keep it in the short grass and you have a chance for a good round but stray off the beaten path and things get scary. The rough is penal and the weed rough is very penal and I have no issues with that it makes you play a good game to get the rewards but not one of those designs that even if you hit the fairways and greens and end up with a bogey or worse yet a double (unfortunately seen too many like this lately) Again very nice course and will play on a regular basis to keep the game sharp :)

Only played 3 holes so far, but it is another brilliant barry offering as I see at that junction. OUTSTANDING FPS rates throughoutdespite lots of eye candy, excellently designed holes, barry is the master of the realistic fantasy course IMHO. BRAVO BARRY!!

Great course Barry, outstanding terrain work. To shoot under par here, you'll need good shot planning and club selection. Thanks man.
