Nice course, designed by Chimaera, with the gorgeous Olympic stadium in Montreal as the main center of attraction.
With nice plantings and a beautiful work done on the bunkers, this par 72, with its wide open look, plays very smoothly and has a few nice and challenging holes, starting with the par-4 1st and its long and twisted bunker. The par-4 2nd hole is very pretty with its view of the Olympic stadium on the left, just like the par-4 6th, with a lake in front and a nice view of the stadium, once again, slightly on the left side. The other hole, worth mentioning, is the par-5 9th, a dogleg with a lake to the right near the green.
The back 9 is less scenic as the Olympic stadium is less visible. Nevertheless, the par-3 11th hole is quite nice with the city skyline as a backdrop, and the long par-5 12th hole is quite tough with its elevated green on top of a small rocky plateau. As for the par-5 18th hole, it is one of my favorites : it's a very long (close to 700 yards) dogleg to the left, with two ponds, one in the middle of the fairway and the other one near the elevated green, guarded by a pot bunker !
Overall, this course is quite enjoyable but, unfortunately, three little displaying bugs "spoiled" my round : the first one, mentioned by other players below, is on the par-4 5th hole where, tee markers are floating near Tiger Woods'... head !
The second is on the par-4 17th hole, where you can clearly see a big grainy patch between the panorama and the plot. And the third, noticeable on a few holes, is the panorama itself, where a thick white line outlines most of the buildings.
Minor bugs, but enough to wish for an updated version by Chimaera Design...

Very nice course, loved the structures, Played on breezy v.diff. v.dry and course started off nice and easy, but after about hole 7 it really toughened up. And as for the 18th what a cracker over 700yds long and uphill. only thing i did notice on one hole (maybe 5th) was the tee markers were all in the air, but no biggy. All round an excellent design and a definite keeper. Congrats

Spectacular view of the scenery. The course was well laid out and I found it quite challenging. I noticed one of the libraries was Emerald Dragon for 07, one of my worst courses. I did notice some of the challenge there.

I played the worst game in a long time. I found my self missing easy putts. Birdies were rare and Pars abundant. For some reason I just couldn't get over the water on the 9th. I scored +5 on that hole alone. I definitely did not have my "A" game today. I did get a couple birds but nothing to brag about. But over all I did have fun and actually enjoyed the challenge.

Scoring 75 (+3) 3 birds, 13 pars, 1 Bogey, and one totally messed up hole. :D

My personal rule for putting: If it looks straight, shoot it straight- 7 times out of 10, itll go in. However if there is any contour at all- screw it, itll be a 2 putt Par :D

Aside from the flying markers, this is an excellent design jimi. The skyline is especially impressive. Nice work!

I thought we had our labor dispute resolved, but apparently theyre still not satisfied. Thats what theyll do to yah (to be spoken in an Irish accent, of course.) Ill leave the course as it is. Bad luck to change it once the pixies have fooled around with it. God kows what theyd do on my next course :) Thats the risk you run when you work with magical creatures. Anybody who manages to hit one of those flying tee markers, they can count an albatross for that hole, lol.

Jimi the tee markers on hole 5 are levitating at head height, those little critters you got working for you were in a rush to outdo axe, i think a salary cut is in order here (lol)
