 | USB/David here, just finished playing Sherwood 06. Top notch and a beautiful piece of art/golf course. Incredible vistas, never boring, visually stunning. I do get far off acid trees on a few holes, but that's no fault of this top notch designer. Thanks for all the hard work and time.

 | More than a year and a half later, I just finished playing this course again, this time with TW08, in order to compare it with the two CGX versions (A & B), released last week.Needless to say, I confirm that this Sherwood Country Club is a true masterpiece and one of the best courses you will ever play, no matter which version(s) you will end up playing and... keeping !
And, yes, you "might" have to keep all three because this version has a few noticeable differences :
 1. To start with, this course is a par 73, with the 14th hole being a par-5, instead of a par-4 on the CGX versions.
 2. On the 1st hole, the parking lot on the hilltop (on the left of the tee box) is empty (unlike on the CGX versions, where you will see a few cars).
 3. On the 7th hole, there is a small bunker in the middle of the fairway, replaced by a... big rock on the latest versions.
 4. On the left dogleg 14th hole, the hill on the right is not as high as with the CGX versions.
 5. And on the right dogleg 16th hole, the stream running along has less vegetation in it, making it nicer to look at.
Overall, if you add the villas, a little bit more colorful on the CGX versions, you will have a tough time deciding which course you like best.
After playing all three courses in a row, I have decided... not to decide and kept all three, simply because they are gorgeous (updated versions or not), thanks to the talent of Wizards and the CGX team !

 | First of all, let's start with the bad news : if you are looking for Robin Hood, don't come to play at Sherwood Country Club ! Now, the good news : this course is a masterpiece from the 1st to the 18th hole. After admiring the villas on the sides of the first 3 downhill holes, the course switches to large fairways with ponds, little creeks and bunkers along the way.
Wizards has done an incredible job in paying attention to everything, from the villas (1st, 2nd holes) to the clubhouse (18th), from the vegetation to the beautiful road along the 11th, 13th, 14th and 16th holes.
This par-73 has 4 par-5s on the back 9 but, strangely enough, you can either get eagles or birdies on almost all of them. And to top it all, take a look at the 17th hole : a beauty !
Hurry to download this course to see for yourself !

P.S. As usual, I play in novice mode, calm winds but with pro tees & difficult pin placement settings.

 | This is the third course designed by Wizards I've now played & all have been 5* efforts - I guess 3 times definitely proves it. Can't add anything new to the superlatives already given, but I'll certainly be dowloading the rest of his courses...

 | As Garry McCord would say 'Oh My, it's an ace!' This has everything, beautiful lighting, gurgling realistic water, stunning scenery, realistic looking grass on greens and fairway, even 'rake marks' in the sandtraps. It also happens to be a super course to play. The ambiance is so perfect I am constantly distracted by it and feel as though I'm actually there. I've downloaded dozens of courses but this is definitely numero uno.

 | Thanx for all the comments guys, hope you enjoyed your rounds. I remember watching the Chevron a couple of years ago and the awesome 15th with the big drop and the rock pools. Although i can't remember much of the course i took it on as an exercise in elevation work, and at some stages didn't think i would pull it off. I am looking forward to the event this year to see how close or far out i was.

 | Great job, Wiz! Love the detail you put in around the somewhat mediovre looking (;)) clubhouse, with the road and all. It is little things like these that really bring a course to life. Terrain work looks great too. Great job on that rock wall behind the pond in front of the 18th. Excellent!

 | I don't normally comment too often on releases but this course is so good I have got to commend you on it. It looks simply amazing on my beast of a machine, probably the best looking and natural courses I have ever seen in cyber golf. The only thing I wouldn't have done is leave the zombies on- unless it's my machine that still puts them on! Top class and looking forward to the next course

The plantings/rocks/bridges/waterfalls throughout really show your attention to detail. The pano/clubhouse/tee markers really add to the look of the course ... excellent work Jimi. This was one of my all-time favorite stock courses and your rendition certainly does it justice. Thanks for an instant classic!
