Warning : don’t play this course if you are suffering from vertigo (especially on the front 9) and make sure, if you don’t, to bring your backpack and some good hiking shoes as you will be walking up and down a lot on this par 72 fantasy course, well designed... despite a few little flaws. On the front 9, my favorite holes are the par-4 3rd, where you will need to hit a steeply-downhill tee shot to reach the tree-lined fairway (with half of it in the shade), and the right dogleg par-4 5th hole, with another very steep downhill and blind tee shot over a big hill and tall trees, with a few bunkers awaiting your errant shots right behind ! Then, after the par-4 6th hole, uphill all the way with a narrow tree-lined and undulating fairway (and with the big SDG letters written in a big bunker in front of the green), you will move on to the left dogleg par-5 7th, where you will need to hit an uphill and blind tee shot... downward a big slope midway, and another similar blind second shot to try to reach the undulating green, with the city skyline further back. You will finish the front 9 with the very scenic par-3 9th hole, slightly uphill, with a tee shot over a big elongated pond ending in front of the green (on the left) and with a wide bunker next to it on the right. As you get ready to tee off on the left dogleg par-5 10th hole, check the default club (I had a lob wedge to start with, in novice mode with tournament tees !), before hitting a slightly-uphill tee shot landing near the tree-lined corner of the fairway, followed by a long uphill second shot to the green over a halfpipe-shaped fairway. The next few rollercoaster holes are nice but not too difficult, if you can avoid on the right dogleg par-4 11th, another big pond in front of the green (on the left) and a wide bunker next to it (on the right), and manage to land your blind and steeply-downhill tee shot on the par-3 12th hole, over a small meandering stream ending in front of the green. Three of the last four holes are quite challenging : the straight and downhill par-4 15th is a risk/reward hole, quite short (around 290 yards) but with a very tricky undulating green, (especially around the cup), and the par-3 17th hole is uphill, with two big bunkers in front and behind the green and a big slope around it. As for the long (more than 630 yards) par-5 18th hole, you can forget about getting an eagle, with a downhill tee shot landing onto a heavily-sloped and slanted fairway, followed by two blind and uphill shots to reach the green, next to the clubhouse behind. If this par 72, set near the Toronto area of Ontario, is fun to play with its rollercoaster fairways, some hills and some white paths, unfortunately, look too angular and "spoil" its "natural" look a little bit...

Canada must be a beautiful country (some relatives living there always admit). Some kind of "roller coaster" course.... But also a fair course. Thank you mr.Willie!

This is a beautiful course, one that requires some thought on each shot. My only issue is that on four holes, it suggested that I tee off with my sand wedge or 9I on long par 4's and a par 5. (That was in ADVANCED mode). I do not know if that is just a program error in Tiger Woods, or if somehow in the design the game thought it was a par 3. Not a big deal, as I know how to change my clubs, but was just curious, as I am designing a course of my own.
Great job on the PANO and the feel it has when playing.
