A nice wide open course, pleasant to watch and play, with quite a few straight holes with wide fairways, but not too challenging, except on a few water holes on the back 9. On the front 9, I like the left dogleg par-4 3rd hole, with a tee shot over a couple of palm trees (next to a small pond) in the corner, followed by an uphill shot to the elevated green, and the right dogleg par-4 5th, with a tee shot over palm trees, with lakes, left and right of the fairway, midway, and a nice view of a few residential buildings, next to the beach, on the far left. The back 9 is prettier and a little bit tougher, starting with the par-4 11th hole, with a big pond, next to a few palm trees, and an elongated lake further to the left of the fairway, and an uphill green, (sligthly to the left), and the par-5 12th, with an elongated lake (on the left), and one big elongated bunker, in the middle of the fairway, and a green, again slightly to the left. The left dogleg par-4 15th is another nice hole, with quite a few palm trees along the fairway (on the right) and a clear view of the undulating green, with a serpentine lake behind (and nice small wooden footbridges to gaze at). You will complete your round with the left dogleg par-5 18th hole, where, after an uphill tee shot landing past a wide serpentine ditch (filled with deep rough and shrubs), across the fairway, you will have to make sure to avoid another wide ditch (filled with more deep rough and bushes) in front of the green if you want to reach it on your second shot. In short, if this par 72 is not the most exciting course you will ever face, it plays very smoothly, with some "cute" hole signs and tee markers (along with a few different shapes of buildings to look at), but I would not call it a golfer's... paradise !

The course has been reuploaded with a fixed TGA file. The splash needs to be in TGA format with a proper alpha channel. If it is in DDS format, CLSetup and TW Caddie have problems determining which DDS file is the logo and which is the splash.

Thanks for the kind words. The greens are a bit flat, but then it is a resort course. They are still pretty fast. The splash worked for me, but I usually use a dds file myself because I often have the same problem.

Enjoyed the course, jimi. The course really shows off your structure design skills -- really liked the clubhouse, hotel and the footbridges. The hole signs and tee markers are a nice touch. I thought the greens were generally pretty flat, but the 17th is a little roller coaster. :) Thanks for your time and effort on this one.
P.S. One other thing I noticed is the alpha layer on the splash needs to be fixed ... it covers the green speed setting.

That is why I put in the hole signs! You can watch the overhead there. You´ll learn some interesting things about olives as well.

Some nice touches Chimaera, I played the front 9 and liked it. One little downside, on the 3rd hole the overhead plan view cuts off the fairway, this is ok on all levels except 'expert' were the E key can not be pressed to see foreward. I've not played the back 9 but the course looks very good and realistic.
