Just after finishing playing at Seven Canyons of Sedona, I was looking forward to play at Crooked Stick. Unfortunately, even though this course plays nicely and, as usual, attention to details is obvious, it does not have the beautiful scenery of the previously-mentioned Sedona. I did not get any big challenge playing this course (shot 13 under par with pro tees and difficult pin placements), and found the back 9 nicer than the front 9 (especially the 13th hole, and the 17th and 18th). Nice job but this one does not make it in my top list...

Beautiful course, as we have come to expect from a designer that is truly talented. Great new course objects, so a special thanks to all of those responsible for those additions. As for the course itself, I really did not find it as captivating as Maderas or Sedona. Maybe that is just because it is what it is. I have heard a lot of Pros comment on the difficulty of the real course and I just did not see any great difficulty with this rendition. One other comment is in regards to the TW trees. Although evident here, this is a visual annoyance with most of the custom designs as well as the stock courses but to a lesser degree. Trees, especially ones that are not of the conifer variety display numerous leafless spike like branches that just protrude from the trunks. A lot of branches also have the appearance of simply being welded to the main trunk of the tree. I have never seen trees quite like these in real life. This is in no way the designers fault and is simply a shortcomming of the game itself. I guess if there ever was a case to be made for a new TW platform it would be to release one with tree textures that are more natural looking. I know this is possible because I have other games in which the trees are rendered very naturally.

Agree with all other comments here, "the only thing" i noticed as i've never seen nor had it happen to me b4 in any course, while putting on 1 of the greens (can't remember which hole it was) there was like a slight drainage "ditch" at the very edge of the green & i didn't notice it right away (wasn't even visible with the camera view) & i putted to a slight break to the left & my putt took off wildly to the right, you actually kinda noticed the ball do a slight hop once i struck it, even 1 of my playing partners noticed it & thats when with a different camera angle we noticed it. But other than that slight little tidbit it is as usual, a absolutely beautiful job Steph!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

I agree with the previous comment, the W,S,A,D keys get a workout on your courses. This one is absolutely gorgeous and play is very realistic. Challenging but fair. Who needs TW09 with new courses like this to play on 08. Thanks Stefanie, great work.

Very nice Stef, as usual with your courses I found myself looking around and not paying any attention to my play. Well worth downloading as this course is as beautiful to play as it is to look at. The Textures and Structures that Quietly did for you are just great. I love the wood textures and the covered bridge is fantastic. You did a great job on those retaining walls. Keep up the good work, love your courses....Kevin
