This par 72 has plenty of doglegs, undulated and/or slanted fairways, some nice elevation changes and a few water hazards, but some of them look a little bit unnatural… On the front 9, I like the short (about 310 yards) downhill dogleg par-4 2nd hole, with big trees in the left corner hiding a big pond right behind in front of the green (unreachable from the tee), the par-3 3rd, slightly uphill with a big tree next to a pond in front of a sloped green, and the left dogleg par-5 4th hole, with a slanted and undulated fairway. The par-3 6th hole is longer than the 3rd (about 200 yards) and has a couple of trees on both sides in front of the small pond, near the green, with some bare land around, whereas the left dogleg par-4 7th has a slanted fairway and a little creek on the left, running past the green. Two of the nicest holes on the front 9 are the left dogleg par-5 8th, with a tee shot over… a small bridge (too close to the tee box !), and a creek flowing on the right side of a rollercoaster fairway, and a second blind shot to get close to the green (guarded by four bunkers below), and the left dogleg par-4 9th hole, a little bit similar to the 8th, but with a green easier to see... and reach. Coming back, the left dogleg par-5 10th hole is nice with a slightly-downhill tee shot landing on a slanted fairway and a big slope down toward the green (with a creek running across in front), just like the par-4 11th hole, with a slanted fairway, a little creek on the right and a small pond close to the green on the right. The par-3 13th hole, on another hand, is nice but… strange : nice, as the green is way uphill, but strange because the water coming down on both sides has an unnatural look and is too flat. On the left dogleg par-4 14th hole, with its undulated fairway, you will get a nice panoramic view of the countryside (with quite a few serpentine paths merging at one point) as you reach the green, partially hidden by trees around the left corner. Finally, the right dogleg par-5 17th hole will surprise you (just like the 13th hole) with its slanted (!) small pond in front of the tee box, but it looks nice with a downhill tee shot flying past the creek running across (and all along) the undulated fairway and a green with bunkers around. Bellerive Golf Country Club is a nice course which plays smoothly, but it needs a little bit of updating to make the water look more natural to become even nicer...

Good design of a classic course.. I guess it's labelled fantasy as it's not fully accurate but from the little I've read/seen of the course I think it's a fairly honest rendition. Sloping and undulating throughout, it's certainly a tough beast, with hardly an easy shot throughout. I enjoyed the back a tad more.. whether that's due to it being relatively kinder or I'd just got my head around the terrain better, I'm not sure. The 17th was probably my fave hole, a great par 5. I agree with others that some of the pin placements were very tough - a couple on the front 9 were especially harsh. All up though a very nice design and I enjoyed the challenge, cheers!

Good challenge this course - some nice planting and loved the green texture. Noticed water not flat in some areas. Fairways with ups and downs were a good challenge. Not sure how accurate this course is as it plays to a par 73. Some good contours on greens keep you on your toes. All in all it worked for me. Shot 70,69,69 and 69. Thanks for sharing!

Water not flat. Fairways slanted unrealistically. Many pins unplayable in very dry.

What A great looking course! Really like the layout. Just one hole the pin was right on A slope so it was hard to stop the ball. 2 thumbs up!

I dont blame Jeff or anyone else, for creating v2, but 360 people or theirabout, d/l v1, a few people commented that they couldnt get the game to work out of that number, I had hoped, those that used as I have said before the CLsetup could go to TWC and grab it but that didnt happen because the course never made it up their, If you are having problems uninstalling, uninstal with the 08 CU, not the Caddy or clsetup, that should fix your problem, this will teach me to dot the C'S, the second file I uploaded at TWC had all the problems fixed including the Dots, not blaming the Admin their either, just cannot understand why, it never saw the light of day at TWC, I would have done it myself if it had let me re-upload.

Thanks Jeff I did upload the course to TWC with adjustments earlier today, and asked JB if he could upload it for me as the system their refused to allow me to do it myself, but it seems it never made it up, so I will upload all my courses here from now on Easier.

For those that download this course earlier, please try downloading the course again. I took the original TCR file, opened it in a hex editor and changed the name of the course so there are no dots at the end of it. This should allow TW Caddie and CLSetup to properly install the course and should prevent crashes to desktop. Please post any problems with this v2 of the course.
