Excellent design and course. Everything is just about perfect here - it plays, looks and feels so realistic and smooth, and the course is a great challenge. I particularly enjoyed the back 9; just finished a round and hit 5 bogeys/4 birdies on the back - normally that sort of scoring is when I've had a couple of strong ones lol but this was due to the lively and challenging layout - it's just great architecture. Top shelf stuff here, really outstanding design, cheers!

While I agree that it's a great recreation of Liberty National, I'm quite certain that the skyline is just fine. Unless I missed something, the Empire State Building is still there. I presume you're confusing it with the Twin Towers.

Unlike the Statue of Liberty, I will not remain silent faced with such a beautiful course ! This course is spectacular not only because of its fantastic New York panorama but also because of its layout. Long par 4s, plenty of water on the side (5th, 7th, 11th and 13th holes) and some bunkers and/or slopes strategically placed. Quite a few holes have a stunning view of the Big Apple, starting with the 2nd hole (along with the 8th, 10th and 12th holes), but my favorite - and definitely one with the most stunning view all the way is the 17th. This course is a must and a definite top 10, thanks to the talent of Homeboy !

Sometimes you have a course that you forget to comment on. I've had this one for a while and want to say Thank You Roger for such a great job. Coming from nearby this area brings back great memories. Plays smoothly and looks fantastic. The New York skyline is excellent. I won't be late to comment on your next course. Dale

Wow! What a great course and such an awesome job! Homeboy, you really do design great courses. Is there ANY chance you would consider doing a TW2008 version of Kings North at Myrtle Beach National? The see the par 5 "Gambler" rendered by you would be a real treat! Thanks for this gem at least!

Thanks, glad you liked it. The information I had when I designed the course showed that hole 6 would play as a long par 4 in tournaments. Guess we'll see at the Barclays this summer.

Great course as usual. Until I found and downloaded this, I didn't know there was even a course there....duh. Great scenery, and a fun course...only comment would be that Hole #6 is shown as a Par 4..and should be a 5. Maybe it was a 4 when built, but at 540+ on the tour length, it should really be a 5. Other than that, I is one of my favorites.

A true masterpiece - plays great - looks even better!
Loved the green complexes - nice run-offs, mounds, slopes, levels, etc. This one can be played over and over and will be different each time. Wonderful.
Oh yeah, that pano is something else as well!!

Just had a fun round on this course. Plays like a dream, especially considering the point count. Scored a +16, which is about average for me ;) The eagle on the third (from 80 yads out) couldn't make up for my awful green play. The textures look great and the pano is superb. Pity it's so specific :) I won't mention the structures. Mediocre as usual, lol. My only slight problem with this course is that the water isn't always flat, as in the creek running along the first hole. This is one of my pet peeves, especially as I know from personal experience that a warped water surface like that can be fixed. Overall an excellent course, though. (PS I encountered a rather peculiar shadow effect on one of the tees. Looked a bit like one of my own checkerboard greens :) I'll post a pic on the forum.)

Could not have been done better! tight, tough and challenging when played on v.dry with a little breeze. Need to hit the fairways dead on to get the best angle for the approach to the smallish tiered greens.
The pano is extremeley well put together and makes for a stunning backdrop. Looks even better now that the stray pixels have been removed from the PGAX version.
If the real course plays as tough as this it could make for some very interesting scoring at next years Barclays being a new course on the tour schedule.
Thanx again Homeboy and the other PGAX design team members who contributed to this one.

What a course Roger! The grass textures, especially the rough look outstanding. Water, pano and sand are first rate. The green and fairway undulations are tricky but fair. Structures and other course objects are very detailed and bright. I know this course was kind of a pet projectof yours and it could be your best creation yet.

The comment about -real- was actually ...plays like a course that if it weren't real, should be, and would still be on the PGA tour venue year after year after etc. Sorry, hit submit before proof reading after breaking off for a minute to watch Colts game ... doh. Scott

Another great Homeboy course designed with the quality we have come to expect from his courses. This course is one of the most fun courses to play under all conditions and Roger's trademark tiered greens are beautifully designed and play very fair. The pano is one of the best and accents this course very nice. You can never go wrong when you download a Homeboy Design and this one won't disappoint. Thanks for the opportunity to test this course, it was a pleasure and as always I look forward to your next design....Kevin
