Playing this course was no problem; everything looked and was OK. Maybe be bit too easy: I played this course in the Sierra PGA 2000 golf program and there it was much harder to manage. Moreover I missed the Spanish feeling, say: atmosphere. The surroundings could have been in England or the Belgian Ardennes (very green), but certainly not in southern Spain, with far less falling rain ; I also missed a view at the Rock of Gibraltar and the long white clubhouse was not like the one I saw at a fotograph. The Jimbo63 course "Finca Cortesin" I also played some time ago, was a better example of a Spanish golf course (if you didn't play that course: just do it without hesitation). All those remarks make me think the designer is not from Europe. Maybe Ron can review this course, paying attention to my remarks, and than, no doubt, we'll get another masterpiece!

I do have to say I tend to agree with Billy Baroo. Lack of character, everything except the teeboxes, bunkers and greens were pretty much dead flat. Too many annoying bird sounds, ended up turning my sounds in game off to finish. I guess it felt like a course wizard on a flat plot course. Also without any galleries did not have any ambience of a championship caliber course. I wish designers would take the time to put in the galleries and let the players decide to use them or not. From a use of the CA standpoint, the craft was good, I think more research and time spent on elevations and details would have made this a winner. The time and effort though is appreciated, and I would not discourage anyone from downloading and playing. It is a very smooth playable course but a few pin locations are not playable on very dry online anyway. Thanks for the course.

I've waited a long time for someone to do Valderrama and it was certainly worth the wait.I have to say that the real custom courses are more impressive than the stock courses

Dear Ron,
I have played the real thing in 1999, a week before the Ryder Cup. I must admit it looks and plays like the real thing, excellent design work. I have rated it a masterpiece...
Excellent work. And as a golf lover, real and in the TW game, i feel you have done a very nice job.
Thank you for giving me the pleasure of been able to recount some beautifull memories as i was playing the course...
With kind regards,
Marcel.

Gr8 course Ron,
had a nice round , some toughish pins but I love that in a course....gives it character.
Went round -4, not too bad. I play expert. Check the screenshot for conditions.

Hadn't had a chance to play this course yet. Can't wait! Ron, I don't know if you were already working on this course, but I made a comment a couple of months ago, that I would like to see this course made. I really appreciate it. By the way...do you think you could tackle "True Blue" in Pawley's Island, SC??:0)
