After playing this course, I have ambivalent feelings : on one hand, the course looks great with plenty of water hazards, high rough, white bunkers and nice plantings but, on the other hand, there are too many trees in the way, especially on the front 9, "spoiling" the playability of this par 72 course. The par-5 1st hole is a perfect example : a big lake on the right, plenty of white bunkers, but a very tough approach shot with trees in the way. As for the clubhouse, I agree with one previous comment, it does not look good... If the right dogleg par-4 2nd hole is nice, with the green on the other bank of the lake, the par-4 3rd hole, once again, is pretty tough as the fairway is not visible, hidden by trees. Some holes are quite nice : the par-3 4th, with the green surrounded by water, the right dogleg par-5 6th, with water on both sides of the narrow fairway, the par-3 8th, with the green on the edge of the lake. As for the right dogleg par-4 9th, its narrow fairway has lakes on both sides. The first few holes of the back 9 are quite tough, with the fairway of the par-5 10th, turning left, then right, and the left dogleg par-4 11th, again with too many trees in the way. However, holes look nicer afterwards with fewer trees : the par-3 13th is quite nice with the lake in front of the green, whereas the par-5 14th hole is quite scenic, with bunkers on the left side and a lake on the right. Even the par-3 16th hole, despite its high palm trees, is pretty. But the dogleg par-4 18th hole, with its very sharp turn to the right, next to the lake, is very tough and you will be lucky to score par on that last hole... Overall, Sir Putterman did a very good job with this course, but I think it would look and be more enjoyable with fewer trees. And to end up on a good news, I did not see any alligator on the green (unlike some real ones seen lately in Florida) : maybe, in a little while, crocodile, but, until then... see you later, alligator !

Nice Course Sir (Putterman). Only remarks: -dark topview on hole 18 -a poor looking clubhouse (looks like a hospital) But, what does it matter? Thank you!

Nice course, but a bit difficult with too many trees appearing and blocking the path of this novice.

A lot of great eye candy on this course. Nice undulations and good looking water textures. The hole designs and layout are also very interesting. On the negative side, the edges around athe bunkers and the different rough textures is very rough looking and in a lot of places even angular. Something that you might see in creations by a person new to the designing game. The different colored sand textures were OK, except the lighter texture only shows detail up close. Otherwise it looks more like freshly fallen snow. Enjoyable, but certainly not Valhalla.

a beautiful golf course. really captures the look and feel of south Florida. I lived there for 5 years. not choppy at all for me. ran as smooth as a baby's butt. ha,ha!! wonderful bunkering and the greens are excellent imho. I loved the good mix of risk reward holes. thanks for this one. a definite keeper for me.

A nice course. Looks very good. You can tell some time was spent putting things in the right place. But the game play was a little choppy on my computer. I'd be interested in knowing the point count for this course. All in all, this is another very nice course from a very good designer, thanks for the fun.
