Looked nice and very playable.
Personally do not know and don't care how accurate the course is, just enjoyed playing.
Look forward to any future courses.
Cheers Brian

Hi Bobby, a couple of comments I would like to make and are in no way intended to be critical. First of all this is a fun course to play and is a dramatic improvement over your earlier renditions of the Straits course. I think anyone who has ever had the opportunity to actually see this course, watched any tournaments on television from this venue or simply has looked at the numerous pictures available illustrating this course, will immediately recognize the obvious shortcommings of this rendition trying to simmulate the actual course. Two major problems here, with the first and most obvious one being the overall look of the bunkers and waste sandy areas. On the real course the bunkers are severely banked, for the major part, somewhat unkept, the perimiters extensively overgrown and many of them sporting grass mound structures within the bunkers themselves. On the real course they appear gnarly, weathered but certainly in no way manicured. The bunkers in this rendition seem to be all well kept, laying on the surface of the terrain with little or no edging or any other texture variations that the real course bunkers offer. The second problem is the overall terrain look that the real course portrays once you are out of the fairways. Windswept, unruly undulating terrain overgrown by wild grasses and who knows what else abundantly flow throughout this entire course. Yes, your rendition has plenty of longer grasses bordering the fairways but the look the real course offers of that absolute land of no return once you enter these areas is not evident in this design. In the real world, the unusual and numerous bunkers and the unruly terrain bordering the fairways really distinguishes and sets this course appart from most any other links style courses in the world. I for one just never had that visual feeling when playing this course. I realize that simulating such a look is very difficult if not almost impossible with the tools that are available for the TW custom designers. I have however seen bunker and terrain work in some customs for 08 that simulate bunkers and terrain much like what the actual Staits course displays. A commendable job and a visually nice course Bobby, it however just doesn't strike fear into my heart as I am sure the real course would.

Hi Bobby - great work again, on a very difficult course to accoumplish in the CA. I noticed a graphic glitch that was not there during testing. When on the tee at hole 12 looking towards hole 13 there are ground textures that are transparent all around the green at hole 13, however when playing 13 the textures are no longer transparent. I can only presume that these need some optimizing as i notised you did some reconstruction work around the hole at 13.
