Thanks for the beautiful course, stubradley. Although a fantasy course, I hope it's modeled after a course you played in your prime, and today you boot up TW2008 and bring back great memories of 300 yard (well, maybe 220 yard...) drives and draining long, winding putts. Thanks again.

What a very surprising course (and the only one...) designed by stubradley ! With no flowers, bushes, high rough, and only 7 bunkers, you would think this course might not look nice : wrong ! This par 72 has a nice mountainous panorama, gorgeous pine tree-lined fairways, plenty of doglegs, quite a few elevation changes, and... small tire tracks, instead of cart paths, on every hole ! While not being too difficult, this course has some nice holes, such as the dogleg par-5 4th, with its fairway bending to the right then to the left, the right dogleg par-4 5th hole, with two uphill shots, the downhill (and straight) par-3 6th, with a very nice panoramic view of the woods (and the small mountains) as you reach the green, and the right dogleg par-5 9th hole, with its slightly-uphill green. But my favorite hole, however, is the right dogleg par-5 11th, downhill all the way, with 2 bunkers in the right corner and a peninsula green with a small bunker behind, and water, left and right. Another noteworthy hole is the short (about 330 yards) and steep downhill par-4 14th, with the green slightly to the right, where you should be able to putt for an eagle. The left dogleg par-4 16th hole, with a lake on the right of the green, and the right dogleg par-4 17th, with the lake on the right near the tee box, are nice and "easy" and you should be able to score birdies, just like on the nice par-5 18th hole, with its green slightly to the left... For his first design, stubradley came up with a very nice course, which looks and plays very smoothly ; so, if you want to enjoy a stress-free round of golf in a very pleasant environment, why not start at Comstock North ? I did and I am glad...

What a wonderfully decieving course!! At first glance, this course may look like a pushover, but looks are decieving! The greens are challenging yet still playable and the noticable lack of bunkers is pure genius. You better pay close attention playing this one. Great effort stu!! This one's a keeper.

Sorry for not commenting sooner but... This is a great course! A bud and I have been playing this course numerous times and have enjoyed it to the max. Match play, skins, whatever, you name it, a great and challenging course. Hole variation is good, ambient sounds are perfect (the sounds are there but not overbearing thank you thank you), pleasant textures, realistic (and sometimes hard depending upon where your ball ends up) and the course itself plays similar to courses I've played in the Reno and Tahoe area. The suspension of belief is very well maintained throughout the game. I heartily recommend this course to anyone and rated it as such. Am looking forward to future courses.
