Excellent course that plays great on advanced so another keeper for me and thank you for sharing.

I will start by saying that the fairway and green textures are first rate. The greens are a nice size and have enough undulation in spots to make them somewhat tricky. The first cut that runs along the fairways is about the width you will find that make up collars around greens. Since there is no intermediate rough, the transition from first cut to primary rough is a little too narrow for my taste. Having said that, the primary rough and I believe it is 08 stock is one that I have never cared for because of a couple of reasons. First, people with Nvidia cards will probably see a certain degree of slant to the grass giving it an unnatural appearance. Secondly, If the grass was about half the height it is presently, it would appear in a more natural manner. I think that aside from a video card inability to render a lot of the 08 stock textures properly, I think there is also the underlying issue of outdated designing tools trying to cope with the latest stock textures. For example, in the 08 stock courses I have never seen slanted rough grasses or rough that is extraordinary in length. Furthermore you will never see buildings or other course objects appear darkish or show lack of detail in the 08 stock courses. Most if not all trees in 08 custom designs when played under breezy or gusty conditions will display big tree trunks bending like rubber and funny spike like branches. These abnormalities are only slightly if at all noticeable in the stock designs. Although the water textures in the 08 customs are certainly acceptable with the shader level set to low or medium, they are still a far cry away from the overall water appearance in the stocks with the shader level set to very high. Because the stock designs are rendered with much superior software I think is the primary reason the graphic issues that plague the custom designs from time to time are not an issue with the stock courses. Getting back to this course, I should say that especially the front nine was rather mundane for me. The holes although layed out in a different manner, seemed to have the same look throughout. Perhaps a few more elevated tee areas or greens, a few course objects such as ball washers or benches, a variety of fairway plantings or maybe rock croppings and maybe even the introduction of a gallery might have made this layout a little more interesting. You have very nice undulated fairways, the tree variety looks great, the pano is well matched to the course and what water there is also looks very good. I guess there was water at the side of the first tee but you don't see it and it does not come into play. Then there is no water until the 10th hole and I believe that water comes into play again on 17 and 18. The water certainly helped break the course up and added a little character to the design. This inturn made the back nine a little more interesting for me. What building there were appeared a little dark and lifeless. I don't know wether you have read the post on a new technique used to brighten up the structures. If not, check it out or get a hold of jimi for information. In short, the courses overall textures are very nice and a lot of people will like it very much. I like it from a visual standpoint because there is a lot to like. I just didn't get exited playing it, but it is a solid effort on your part and thank you for the design.
