A beautiful course with that frequently-used Laurel Ridge panorama (one of the best !), some elevated terrain (looking quite natural), nice plantings and panoramic views from the tees, and a spectacular 4-hole finishing stretch. The par-4 1st hole set the tone for the whole course with a downhill tee shot landing on the other side of the hill, with nice trees all along and a green, slightly to the left (with the mountains and lake as a backdrop), and is followed by the nice downhill par-3 2nd, with a big lake behind the green, and the left dogleg par-4 3rd hole, downhill all the way to the green, with an approach shot over the small valley. The right dogleg par-4 5th hole has an undulating fairway and needs a downhill tee shot to reach the other side of the hill and a blind approach to the green, unlike the right dogleg par-4 6th with its fairway next to a wide and deep wasteland and an elongated pond on the left, and the straight par-4 7th, similar but with an elongated bunker, midway on the left side. One of my favorite holes, however, is the par-5 8th, with its winding fairway next to the deep wasteland on the right and its tough second shot over it to try to reach the green, set above some rocky slope, with plenty of OB rough in between. The par-4 9th hole, on another hand, is straight and short (about 310 yards) but reaching the green from the tee is not a piece of cake with a big and deep elongated bunker set diagonally in front of the green, slightly to the right. The back 9 starts with the short (about 490 yards) and straight par-4 10th hole, quite tricky with a lone tree in the middle of the serpentine fairway, next to the deep wasteland on the right, hiding the view of the green, guarded by another deep bunker on the left. Another beautiful hole is the right dogleg par-4 11th, with a tee shot over the deep wasteland again and 7 bunkers (!) on the other edge, and a downhill and blind tee shot with trees hiding the green (near an elongated pond on the left), and is followed by the right dogleg par-12th, again next to the winding wasteland on the right, but with a clear view of the slightly-elevated green instead. Then, after the par-4 13th hole, with trees on the left of the fairway and the deep wasteland on the right, and the left dogleg par-4 14th, with a downhill approach to the green, you will reach the scenic right dogleg par-4 15th hole, with a downhill second shot over an elongated lake to to the green, followed by the pretty par-3 16th, with a tee shot next to that lake on the right and a green, very close to the edge ! The par-4 17th hole is gorgeous too with its zigzagging path on the left of the winding fairway overlooking a wide lake on the right, just like the dogleg par-5 18th, quite spectacular with its fairway, bending sharply to the right hugging the lake with a nice small island covered with trees not far from the shore ! With its beautiful landscape and its few water hazards and tricky greens, Glenmore Golf Club is very well designed by ganesh and is quite challenging and fun to play, as long as you don't get "annoyed" by the little loading time between holes and some lagging commentaries as a result !

Just had a practice round on this course and I have to say it is stunning. The pano is great and blends in really well. Great use of elevation changes makes for a very interesting course. In my opinion one of the best customs out available.

Have to agree with everything thats said about this course, greens are tricky but fair, playing in the wind you might have to train one of those wild billy goats that I know are around that area to retrieve your wayward shots. Myself I come from that part of the world and to play this even though it is fantasy is something special. Thank you.

This one is a clinic on course design, it don't get much better. The panoramic views from the tees is a golfer's dream come true. There is a little longer then normal load time between holes, but the wait is well worth it. Thanks for this masterpiece, ganesh.

Played on LAN, dry/breezy/average/easy, no crashes or graphic probs.
This IS a beautiful course, expertly designed. Only played the front due to time constraints. Only negatives I can say about it is a little laggy on the teeboxes and load times between holes. Load times were more noticable that the teebox lag, besides the load times give me time to ponder or grab a refreshment. Still a bute, TYVM for your efforts.

Only one word is needed to describe this design,"Beautiful". The most impressive thing are the hole layouts. Every hole shows great creativity and imagination. The elevation changes are superb. Fairway and rough textures, along with the rock formations and course structures are first rate. Although this pano has been used frequently in 08 customs,it fits this layout to a tee. Glenmore rates in the top twenty 08 custom designs in my book. Outstanding work on a design where you must keep the ball in the fairways to have a descent score.
