Floating trees/bushes might be related to your graphics settings for the game or the quality of your video card. You can try to increase the graphics quality setting . Start TW08 game....options...graphics...and move slider a bit to: best quality. ( but it will decrease game performance a bit )

IMO,Based solely on the 9 shots in the Photo Gallery, the much talked about Pano looks to be scaled much to large for the surrounding elements in the course. Not to mention the over use or lack of understanding of some of the blending tools/methods in Photoshop (if in fact it was the program used). But ya know what, at least he can design a complete course, which is more than I can do.

I very rarely comment on fantasy courses however I felt that as some seem fixated with the pano, which by the designers own admission, was not one of his better ones, I thought Id add my own comments on the course itself, as I am not bothered with eye candy.
Overall, a fair effort. However, from my own opinion, the textures used are just not that great. They make the course look arcadish (from the 80s) which is great if you are after a retro look. I found the sand texture way too bright (i took to wearing shades LOL) Not only the brightness, but unfortunately, the bunkers on the first were not dropped and the rest of the course bunkers suffered from ver sharp edges and spikes at edges.
The greens looked like upturned pudding bowls on most of the front 9 however, they were very fair on very dry greens. Just no real imagination shone throught for me regarding the green contours. The 3rd IMHO needed raised tee boxes but this might be just my preference for real course architecture coming through. This is after all, a fantasy design.
I saw diferent textures used for paths which didnt really fit. The rough textures didnt blend in with each other, ie: different colours so no possibility of shading nicely. Again, as this is a fantasy design, no worries, but I personally like a course to blend together in terms of colour and shading. I saw too many trees that were planted straight from the Library but without adjusting the height or rotation. Hole 5 was I think, cut too close to the plot edge giving an unsightly view towards the pano.
All of the above resulted in a course that carried no common theme IMO and it was therefore difficult to understand what the architect was intending with this design. It would be easy to use the pano as a cop out here as the only issue one might have with this course, however, looking more closely at the details, one cannot fail to notice, that there is no central theme and I personally found it all very samey (sorry for that awful use of grammer LOL) and chose to end the game after 9 holes.

Previous two pano comments are right on the money. Note to future designers ... dont use the cam-pano! After a couple of shots one finds oneself staring endlessly at the #%#! thing ... kind of like a crummy song you hate but cant get out of your head. Imho, some things interrupt the suspension of belief when playing TW ... too many ambient sounds, strange coloring, and this particular pano. Just my opinion Scott

The overall layout and design of the course is very good and offers abundant eye appeal. The water looks very nice. I do agree with Bill and the points that he makes. Even by Bruces own admission, this is not the greatest pano and it has been used on several other occasions in 08 designs. There are quite a few others available that might have been more appropriate. In addition to Bills observations, I also found that a number of course objects were absent of detail and appeared somewhat dark even on low shader level. All in all not a bad design except for the pano which is an eyesore. Rating it in comparison to the numerous other 08 custom creations, I would say that it is somewhere in the middle of the pack.

The Good. Played smooth. Greens were fair on very dry. Ponds looked good.
The Bad. Unplayable pin on #10 (vdry). Bunkers need some work. Many tears on the bunker edges. Floating bushes all over the place. Some trees blocked tee shots in windy conditions.
The Ugly. Pano was not great and very distracting
Sorry, JMO....Bill

The other course designers need to give Skydoral a phone call or e-mail to find out how he did it. Excellent course, Skydoral!
