Just a masterpiece, and kudos to Holein1 for bringing it to my attention, bookoo kudos to Bullpupp2. Tough, but fair, didn't see a hole you couldn't play safe, or go for it. I fell in love with 9, a par 5 that gives you that option, but beware, the green is small and the wind is blowing! I played it dry, and the putting was as fair as it could be. I was amazed Bullpupp2 created it in 2008, it was way ahead of its time. One of the best, fantasy or real.

A masterpiece from the 1st tee to the 18th green : with great elevation work, superb plantings, quite a few bunkers, plenty of lakes and a real look, this par 71 not only is stunning visually but it has also plenty of challenging holes. The par-3 1st hole is probably one of the best starting holes you will ever face on a golf course : with 2 high trees framing the tee area and a big lake to fly over to reach the downhill green, it is simply superb ! The dogleg par-4 2nd hole, with a big lake on the right is no gimme either and is quite nice, whereas the straight par-4 3rd hole, with its elevated green reachable from the tee box, and the lake on the right side, can be tricky. I also like the par-3 4th hole, with trees hiding the steep elevated green, and the two left par-4 doglegs which follow, with a blind downhill tee shot on the 5th and an uphill tee and approach shots on the 6th hole. The right dogleg par-5 7th hole has another blind tee shot downhill with two lakes to worry about : a big one on the left and a small one on the right. Then comes another gorgeous par-3, the 8th hole, with a blind tee shot to reach the island green and where you will have to solve a puzzle : how do you retrieve your ball, since there is no bridge to get there ? As a result, with a new ball, you will have a... ball, playing on the left dogleg par-5 9th hole, with its uphill tee shot and narrow fairway and a very long and tough approach shot to the downhill green, close to the big lake on the left side. Coming back, after the first two par-4 doglegs, with uphill tee shots and downhill greens (with the latter one, close to the lake), the slightly right dogleg par-5 13th hole is quite nice with a downhill tee shot, a meandering creek across the fairway and a scenic green, with wide bunkers nearby. The left dogleg par-4 16th hole is pretty too, with an uphill tee shot and the green located between two lakes, but the par-3 17th is even prettier with its downhill green, near the edge of the lake... And if you think you will be out of the woods after the 17th hole, the superb and tough par-5 18th hole will give you fits as you will need to hit a tee shot over the lake and a very long approach shot over the twisted fairway and the lake (again) on the right to reach the green... As usual, BullPupp2 designed a beauty and this course is a definite top shelf even if, surprisingly, he forgot to insert a small bridge on the par-3 8th hole (LOL) !

Drop-dead gorgeous looking course and a very crafty and creative layout. Really need to plan your way around carefully - do it right and you'll be fine but if you err, this Lord casts bolts! Many good holes but the par 3 opener sticks in the mind - particularly when your first shot goes in the drink lol. Visually stunning, just absolute eye-candy all the way - a really stellar design. Cheers!

Really like the layout. Nothing like shooting the canyon on A par 3! Great work B.P.

Hey Bull. excellent course. I like a course that presents a challenge if you want to take some chances and this is one of the best. Even played conservatively, its still the best for target golf. Enjoyed playing it. Thanks for taking the time to develope a course that is pleasing to the eye and a challenge to the brain.

Very nice job, Bill ... thoughtful and creative layout. I really liked the general/ambient elevation work it seemed very natural and flowing. I also liked the bunkering look, which made the course sort of feel like Bay Hill meets Pine Valley. I particularly liked the look of the sandy/marshy area surrounding the 9th fairway. A few quibbles: I thought the first cut was a little too dark and I thought that some of the flat fairways (like 16) didnt seem to flow into the surrounding terrain.
All in all, though, a fun and challenging round. Great work.

This course throughout is just loaded with great design imagination. Its almost like you cant wait to get to the next tee to see what is in store for you. Just a great and fun course Bill, one if not my favourite of all your designs.

I enjoyed this course a lot. Good imagination, pleasant scenery, good coloring, and lots of shots where you had to think and consider (or reconsider as the case may be) your club selections. The numerous split fairways gave the course its personality and fit the natural surroundings. Great Job! Fun to play.
Just my opinion, Scott
