With snow-covered mountains as a backdrop, this par 71 looks nice and is fun to play with plenty of small elevation changes, quite a few water hazards, pretty old stone buildings, meandering paths, and a few tricky greens. On the front 9, I like the left dogleg par-5 2nd hole, with a tee shot over a small lake and a blind approach shot over a hilltop on the left, and the picturesque left dogleg par-4 5th, with a big pond on the left side next to a meandering river flowing across the fairway midway through, making your tee shot quite tricky, before hitting a slightly-uphill approach shot to the green. But my favorite hole is the short, but scenic, par-5 11th hole, with a river bending to the left, then flowing to the right, a tee shot to the right of the river and a second shot over the river to the left to reach the fairway (and/or the green) on the other side... The par-3 13th hole, on another hand, is quite tricky : with a tee shot over a big pond, it looks easy but its steep slope behind the flag could spell deep trouble for you if you are not careful. Fortunately, the short par-4 14th hole, slightly uphill, should offer you an eagle opportunity to make it up ! Another very pretty hole is the par-4 15th, with a nice castle-like building on the right, near the tee area, and a long downhill tee shot over an island in the middle of a big lake which should enable you to reach the green. Finally, after the nice, but easy, left dogleg par-4 17th hole, with a blind uphill tee shot, you will be rewarded with the uphill par-3 18th hole, with a tee shot over the lake on the right and a nice view of the old stone clubhouse behind the green. Ballindaloch will offer you an enjoyable round of golf as it is well designed, as usual, by M.G.A. Hover with a few challenging holes along the way !

Good course...had an eventful round..was three over on each of four separate holes but got it back to two over at the end. The various edifices were very good.,felt you could walk up to the front doors.

The two required libraries, Ballindaloch and Ballindaloch+, are actually identical. After installing Ballindaloch the installer indicates that Ballindaloch+ is already installed, when you try to install it.
