Another nice course from axe360, with small green hills as a panorama, sparse but beautiful plantings, and challenging and twisting fairways with a few well-placed trees and/or bunkers in the way, often as you tee off.
The par-4 1st hole with a slightly-downhill tee shot is a good example, with trees on both sides of the fairway halfway, making it narrower, and with a big bunker to the right below the green.
The par-4 2nd hole is a sharp dogleg, with a tee shot downhill over a little pond and an elevated green to the left, whereas the par-5 3rd is quite nice, with its zigzagging fairway and three bunkers across midway through, and a small u-shaped pond in front of the green.
After the downhill par-3 4th hole, with a blind tee shot, and the other par-3 7th, with a slightly-elevated green, you will reach my favorite hole on the whole course, the gorgeous right dogleg par-4 8th, with two shots over a lake and two pretty little bridges.
On the back 9, I like the slightly-downhill tee shot on the par-3 11th hole, with two high mounds behind, and the right dogleg par-5 12th, with an elongated lake on the left side and a downhill approach shot to the green, with a big pond, deep below behind it.
Two other noteworthy holes are the par-3 15th, slightly downhill with a few trees around the green and another one on the left, in front near the flag, and the left dogleg par-5 18th hole, with a small pond to the left of the green.
Green Valley Country Club is nice and is tougher than it looks, with some challenging holes and a few greens, hard to read and, even though I noticed a couple of grainy patches between the horizon and the plot (4th and 15th holes), it is definitely worth keeping, thanks to axe360's nice imagination !

Beautiful creation, this is a very nice course - challenging yet with a relaxed vibe - set in a visually splendid setting. Plenty of variety in the layout and each hole presents its own difficulties. My liking for it grew throughout and I had a great time getting around this track - an awesome design, cheers!

Nice job Larry ... your design skills continue to improve. Creative hole layouts require some thoughtful shot selection. Really liked the terrain work on holes 6 and 7 in particular. One thing I noticed was different tee markers on the back 9 ... small quibble though.
