Well, if you want to drastically improve your statistics, I suggest that you play this Ao Xiang course, designed by M.G.A. Hover, as you will be very surprised to find not one, but... two par-5 holes, which are, in fact, par-3s ! (Yes, Billum, besides the 15th hole that you mentioned, where I scored an albatross, just like you, there is also another "Christmas gift" for us : the 9th, where I managed to score an eagle !). Needless to say, despite a nice and imaginative scenery, with the "Great Wall" in the background, a few very high cone-shaped mountains, colorful trees, and a small ravine and some water hazards to avoid, seeing all my shots bounce high onto the greens also spoiled it for me... Obviously, I will never know what happened to M.G.A. Hover when he designed this course (lack of time and/or testing ?) but, one thing is for sure, this par 71 needs some additional work to be fully enjoyable !

I have played this course numerous times over the years, but I, and those I was playing with, just noticed that the 15th on the scorecard is a 535 yrd par 5 but in actually it is only 112 yards long (from tournament tees). Not that I'm complaining as I double eagled the hole. Just can't believe that I never noticed this before now.

The course was laid out with perfection. Like Big Pumpa said in his comments....the greens were rubbery like when the ball hit....sort of like...BOING. But I did like the course a great deal. If the green could be redone and resubmitted it would be a great great course.

Usually I really enjoy your courses, but the rubbery greens on this course were a bit disappointing.
