A scenic course, with nice small rocky mountains around and quite eye-candy with a river running along or across a few holes, not to mention a couple of well-placed wide lakes as water hazards, and with a few elevation changes, and not that easy with some elongated bunkers to watch for and a few undulating greens, sometimes hard to read.
This par 72 starts in a beautiful fashion with a left dogleg par-4, and a nice covered bridge to look at (on the right) as you hit your tee shot over a small river running diagonally across the tree-lined fairway (and then flowing to the left, all the way past the green), and continues later on with the par-3 4th hole, with a big hill (on the left) and trees (on the right) and a pretty panoramic view of the hilly countryside as your reach the green.
The par-4 5th hole is nice too, with a tee shot over deep rough and a few bushes, and a small lake (with 3 fountains in it) to the left side of the green, and is followed by the left dogleg par-5 6th, with a long and tough second shot toward the slightly-elevated green, with a big elongated bunker in front and to the left to watch for.
But my favorite hole is the spectacular par-3 7th, with a blind and steeply-downhill tee shot over a few bushes and trees, landing past a wide sandy area in front of the green.
The back 9 is quite challenging, with the right dogleg par-4 10th hole, with a tee shot over the river crossing the fairway diagonally, and an approach over it again to reach the green, and the tough left dogleg par-5 11th, with sand all along the left side of the fairway, and a green, across the river, impossible to reach on your second shot, as it is hidden by a few tall trees.
Another gorgeous hole is the par-3 13th, with a tee shot over part of a wide lake and over trees further back, again hiding the green.
Later on, you will face the long right dogleg par-5 15th hole, with a tee shot through a narrow gap between trees landing onto an undulating fairway, next to a wide sandy area (midway, on the right), and an undulating green too far to reach on your second shot, with a couple of more elongated bunkers on both sides.
Then, after the nice right dogleg par-4 16th hole, with a wide open tee shot over an elongated lake (on the right) and a slightly-elevated green, and the par-3 17th, with a blind tee shot over a small hill, you will finish your round with the straight par-4 18th, with a tee shot over sand all along the fairway (on the right) and ending next to the slightly-elevated green.
Well designed by Stinger... Design, this... Stinger G.C (Midwest) course is visually attractive and quite challenging with a few water hazards to overcome but, if you are patient enough, you should really enjoy it !

Nice course Stinger, it was a pleasure to play and was a nicely laid out track.

Although I agree with Jurgie that variety is the spice of life lol, as a note, the only issue with the use of the small grasses available, is that using these and a few of them in one area, can cause quite severe lag for that area, more noticeable when the ball flies over the same area. This is something we have noticed and recorded via a frame rate app, a lot when recreating the PGAX courses in recent months and so we tend to be very careful and selective, when using small grasses or small plants on designs, as we try to cater for low end machines as well as for those who have all the latest gear. The larger plants, such as the ones used on this course by Stinger, eradicates that issue, unless of course, hundreds are used in one spot.

Great imagination in the course layout in conjunction with great bunker work and the use of a variety of very appropriate textures. Bruce, One small thing that I noticed, was a transparent large conifer tree trunk rear left of 14 green. The course has a tremendous amount of eye appeal but here is just a little personal observation. I thought that maybe the use of the yellow florals was a little overabundant. There are quite a range of wild grasses in various colors available that might have been very attractive in the place of some of the many yellow ones which presently frequent the landscape. Just a personal opinion nothing more. Great work!

Bruce:
You outdid your other courses by doing this one. It is fantastic. I can only echo what Pete and Ray said. Just a masterpiece of design. Keep em rolling in and am looking forward to your next one.

Great course, very picturesque with imaculate fairways and greens. Only one small problem, the building behind the 18 hole appears to be floating a bit which kind of stands out when the rest of the course is basically flawless.

Very good job. Plays smooth and very nice layout. Tricky greens and placement of trees and bunkers require some thought, caught me out a few times -)
