Hard to believe this course has a total of, now, 3 comments. It's tough to play given the roaming fairways and such, but it plays so fair, so true, and it is a joy to look at. Very realistic, could be a real course, and I enjoyed it immensely. BGravolcious is one of my favorite designers, with 10% of my favorite courses. I hope he reads this and learns, once again, how important he and all the designers are for those of us who simply play.

Another beautiful and challenging course from bgravolicious, this time with a nice hilly panorama, few trees and little vegetation, but with plenty of blind downhill tee shots and a lot of undulated fairways and deep rough.
This par 72 starts with the nice and short (about 360 yards) par-4 1st hole, with a blind tee shot over some small mounds and a big pond across, not far from the front of the green (with two bunkers left and right), and is followed by the straight par-3 2nd, where you will need to hit another blind tee shot downhill.
The left dogleg par-5 3rd hole has a big patch of deep rough in the corner with three bunkers nearby and an elevated green, just like the right dogleg par-4 4th, with a blind downhill tee shot over a small mound, more deep rough in the middle of the undulated fairway, and a slightly-elevated green.
The par-4 5th hole is straight, short (less than 300 yards) and... tough, with a blind tee shot over a high mound, a very undulated fairway and a green guarded by two big trees (with big branches on both sides !), and a green, quite risky to reach from the tee with bunkers at the bottom of the trees...
Then, after the par-4 6th hole, quite nice with an elongated lake on the right side, two big bunkers on the left (near the corner) and an approach shot over the lake (slightly to the right), you will reach the beautiful and panoramic par-5 7th, with a blind tee shot downhill landing on an undulated fairway and an approach shot over a big lake with the green, slightly to the right.
Finally, after the “easy” par-3 8th hole, with a tee shot over a lake, you will finish the front 9 with the left dogleg par-4 9th hole, with a blind downhill tee shot over a small mound and another blind and uphill approach shot to the green.
Water comes into play on quite a few holes on the back 9, starting with the left dogleg par-4 10th, with a small lake on the left midway through and a blind uphill approach shot to the green, and continuing with the right dogleg par-5 11th, with another blind tee shot downhill and a big circular pond across in the middle of the fairway.
One of my favorite holes is the left dogleg par-4 12th, very scenic with a deep pond (and a tiny island with trees and deep rough in the middle) at the bottom of a big slope on the left side of the undulated fairway, just like the straight and slightly downhill par-3 13th hole, with lots of deep rough in front of the green, guarded by two bunkers on the sides, at the bottom of a small mound.
The next two holes have big hollow wastelands (on the left side) filled with deep rough, on the par-4 14th, with an elevated green, and on the short (less than 320 yards) and risky par-4 15th hole, with a green, slightly to the left, with more deep rough in front, to the right.
The par-4 16th is another risk/reward hole, as it is quite short (about 320 yards) but, with a blind tee shot over a small mound on the right and bunkers on the right side near the green, slightly downhill, choosing the right club might be a little bit tricky.
Then, after hitting another blind tee shot downhill over a hollow wasteland on the par-3 17th hole, the par-5 18th hole will offer you a very nice panoramic view of the valley as you hit your downhill tee shot before trying to reach the uphill green, slightly to the right.
Well-designed as usual by bgravolicious, this course is fun to play and, with its blind tee shots, it will definitely offer you some challenging shots to reach the greens, another good reason to keep this beauty !
