After looking at the above picture, I was expecting to be hopping from one small island to another while gazing at the crystalline water : well, I was wrong ! This par 73 is gorgeous in another way, with its some small island mountains as a backdrop, beautiful lush vegetation, tiny ponds and small creeks on many holes, and quite a few bungalows and huts near the fairways. As you will discover, there are plenty of very nice holes, starting with the short par-3 3rd where you will need to hit a blind tee shot to reach the downhill green and continuing with the left dogleg par-5 4th hole, quite tricky around the green with a tiny pond just on the left side. I also like the scenic par-5 6th hole, with its fairway framed by a creek in a horseshoe shape all the way to the front of the green. The right dogleg par-4 8th hole is quite pretty too with bungalows on the right side and a small pond to the right of the green. On the back 9, the right dogleg par-5 10th hole looks similar to the 8th hole, but its green is slightly downhill with more water around, unlike the par-3 11th, where the green is set on a little mound. Other holes that stand out are the right dogleg par-4 13th, with a beautiful view of the ocean as you tee off and two tiny ponds, left and right, guarding the green and the par-4 14th hole, a left dogleg with a slightly uphill tee shot, very close to a house on the left side and with a big pond a few yards behind. Afte hitting your tee shot over a big pond on the short par-3 15th hole, you will reach the up and down par-4 16th hole with water near the green, surrounded by bungalows. Then comes one of the nicest holes, the par-4 17th, a left dogleg with a big mound on the left side of the tee, hiding the fairway, and a downhill green with two small ponds on both sides. Skydoral did a beautiful job designing this eye-pleasing course which is quite fun to play, and it will definitely be added to my collection, despite a little seam in the mountain facing the tee box, visible on a couple of holes...

When I saw island in the course name I said oh no, as I do not like tropical coconut treed courses, but gave it a try....good job I did! I love this course! some long par 5s in there and tricky par 3s so thanks for this course!

Great use of textures, the holes are unique in design and layout. You have been at this designing game for quite sometime now. I am a little puzzled about all the pano seams that are very prevelant throughout the entire design. I have seen way too many of these in numerous 07 custom designs. I thought that problem was virtually solved in most of the 08 customs. It is the one thing that is very distracting and ruins for me a otherwise very nice rendition.
