Fun course, with nice small snow-capped mountains and a lake as a backdrop. This par 72 plays very smoothly and has a few risk/reward holes, where you will have to think twice about laying off or not, faced with water hazards. Set in Scotland, this links course has few trees, but plenty of high rough and a few bunkers, as expected, to go along with small rocky mounds near ponds and small lakes/rivers. My favorite holes are the very scenic par-5 2nd, with its view of a castle, far away on the left side, lakes on both sides and its island green, and the right dogleg par-4 6th. On the back 9, I like the par-4 10th hole, with its elongated pond on the left side and its nice mountain view far away beyond the green, just like the par-3 11th hole, where you will hit your tee shot over the water while enjoying the overview. The par-4 16th hole is another par-4 where you can reach the green from the tee, but you will need to be a little bit lucky as the river is quite wide. As for the par-4 18th hole, the tee box, framed by the two nicest trees on this course, is quite pretty but, once again, you will have to think twice about club selection as a river runs across, midway through the fairway, leaving you with a tough decision to make. If you add nice little wooden bridges, benches and small cabins, Engguy, for (maybe ?) his last course, did a very good job and will be missed. Thank you for all these wonderful courses done over the years and... best of luck !

Nice course where I "feel at home", preferring Scottish landscapes above others. Only remark: in the far distance there are a few lakes visable, which make me think:"where did I see them before?" (a question of using the same librairies as other designers?)

If this your last course, you will be sadly missed by all, this course is just a sheer pleasure to play, your courses are always excellent. Many hours of enjoyment playing your courses so I hope you will not stop making courses but if you are doing anything new in the graphics line, then good luck from us no hopers who cannot make any courses but appreciate a good course.

Sorry to hear Phillip that this may be your last course..,I know that you have been designing courses for many years as you go right back to the PGA 2000 game. So many fine courses. Thank you and good luck in the future.

I certainly have to agree with the prior comment by bloodybrit3. Your work has always been top notch and Saint Michaels is just another example of your designing abilities. It is a sad day indeed. All the best to you my friend and hopefully you will have a change of heart.
