Great fun course just like the 06 version but a bit prettier, the textures are fresher and blend so well I think just adds to the all round pleasure of playing it. as with the 06 version many thanks for sharing this clever fun design.

If you want to play a real fantasy course, quite scary with a steep gorge and/or cliffs, this might be another place to be !
This par 72 will have your legs shaking half of the time, not to mention your arms, as you get ready to tee off and/or hit approach shots over the vertiginous landscape.
The right dogleg par-4 1st hole will give you a taste of what to expect after hitting a slightly-uphill blind tee shot, as you will discover the deep gorge going all around the fairway and the small green, very close to it !
The par-3 2nd hole is not only vertiginous, with its tee shot over the ravine and the river way below, it is also... magical : for the first time in my "PC golfing life", I saw the ball being suddenly “sucked up” in mid-air, before reappearing as it dropped onto the green ! And guess what ? Even in normal and/or reverse replay, the same thing happened !
After that "magic trick", you will reach the sharp dogleg to the left par-5 3rd hole with a tee shot over the gorge and a... gorgeous view of the bay as you reach the green surrounded by a daisy-shaped bunker.
The par-4 4th hole is for you or, should i say, "this bud's for you !" : uphill all the way, with the steep ravine to the left, you will tee off with a giant can and Budweiser billboard in front of you, with the city skyline further behind !
The downhill par-3 5th hole is beautiful, with the bay way below on the left side but, unfortunately, there is a big grainy patch midway on the left too, unlike the par-4 6th, relatively "easy", despite its blind tee shot and heavily-slanted fairway to the left, and the nice right par-5 7th hole, where you will need to hit two blind shots, an uphill tee shot followed by a long blind approach shot downhill to the green...
If the right dogleg par-4 8th hole is a little bit tricky, with its downhill slope and the ravine in front, making your club selection crucial, the left dogleg par-4 9th, on another hand, is quite scary with its very steep uphill tee shot over the gorge with the city skyline in front.
Coming back is not a piece of cake either, starting with the very picturesque, and scary, steep downhill par-3 10th hole, with a lighthouse below on the right and four small islands, with the green being on the first one !
With a big gazebo on the left side of the tee box, you will need an uphill tee shot to cross the river on the straight par-4 11th hole in order to reach the fairway and a delicate approach shot to the downhill green, pretty close to the edge of the cliff.
The next three holes are quite nice with shots over the water but they are not overly difficult : the par-4 12th is downhill and straight with a river in the middle, just like the par-3 13th hole, over the water but with a wide green, and the pretty right dogleg par-4 14th hole, slightly downhill to the green with a beautiful view of the skyline behind...
The right dogleg par-5 15th hole, also slightly downhill, is very pretty with its panoramic view of the skyline in front, two big rocks with flowers around in the middle of the fairway, and its elongated island green (one of the four seen on the 10th hole), with a big tree on the right, next to three small bunkers.
Then, after teeing off from one of the other small islands on the par-4 16th hole, you will reach the downhill par-4 17th, with its beautiful green surrounded by bunkers (with a last glimpse at the giant beer can on the left side !), before finishing with the sharp dogleg par-5 18th hole, with a big lake and the lighthouse on the right, and where you should not try to reach the green on your second shot, as it is very steep uphill !
With its very nice panorama, beautiful plantings, and breathtaking views, this fantasy course is a delight to watch and play (despite those two little bugs mentioned above...) and a definite keeper as the original (but real ?) 2006 version is less scenic (no panorama) and not as nice in terms of textures used.

P.S. Just out of curiosity, I just finished playing the 2006 version and found out that the “sucked up” ball bug on the 2nd hole was already there !
