Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus really got their hands wet, creating this course, and you should bring in your boots, along with your bucket and spade, to play on this par 72, quite challenging with wide lakes, doglegs, undulated fairways and plenty of big and wide bunkers all over !
The par-4 1st hole sets the tone for what you will face, with an elongated lake on the right, a big elongated bunker on its edge, midway, and an undulated fairway, just like the left dogleg par-4 2nd, with a big tee shot over a wide lake.
The scenery then changes on the pretty par-3 3rd hole, with an enormous wide sand area in front and across the tee box ending to the left of the fairway, before water reappears on the right dogleg par-4 4th, with a tee shot over a lake and an undulated fairway with a slightly-elevated green.
One of my favorite holes is the sharp dogleg to the right par-5 5th, with a tee shot over a small lake, and another big lake further to the right (with a wide bunker near its edge in the corner), ending next to the green, reachable with a very long approach shot.
After the pretty par-3 6th hole, with a tee shot over a lake and another wide bunker on the edge (right in front of the green on the right), you will move on to another sharp dogleg to the left, the par-5 7th, with a wide lake in the corner and, again, a very long second shot trying to reach the green.
Then, after the right dogleg par-4 8th hole, with an elongated lake midway on the left, but where you can cut the corner hitting your tee shot over a few trees and some bunkers, you will reach another one of my favorite holes, the right dogleg par-4 9th, with an undulated and narrow fairway hugging the lake on the right all the way to the green.
The par-4 10th hole is pretty, albeit not too difficult, with a narrow and winding bunker hugging the lake on the left all the way to the green, just like the par-3 11th, with a big pond right in front of the green and a small bunker on the edge.
After the par-4 12th hole, with a second shot over a lake to reach the green, I like the right dogleg par-5 13th, slightly uphill all the way (with no water), but reaching the green is not easy with a wide bunker in front and to the left, unlike on the par-3 14th hole.
The right dogleg par-4 15th hole is similar to the 9th, but its fairway, next to the lake on the right, is much wider, unlike the right dogleg par-4 16th, with no water, slightly uphill all the way to the green with a wide bunker on the front, and to the right.
Then, after the left dogleg par-4 17th hole, with a slightly-uphill tee shot and a blind approach to the slanted green (guarded by two wide bunkers on both sides), you will finish with the par-5 18th, with a tee shot next to a small lake on the right of the tee box, an enormous bunker all along the fairway on the left, ending next to the green, reachable with your approach shot over the sand...
If this King and Bear real course (nicely redesigned by ron717), requires some tough shots, at times, its... bare surroundings could use a little more planting to make it more visually attractive. But, nevertheless, I was glad to play this course with TW08, as water had plenty of stripes with the TW07 version...

There are so many courses in TW08, that sometimes it takes a long time before you play it.
Should have played this one earlier.
