Another Southern gem from the Southern master. A tricky course with winding fairways, tight landing areas, clever bunkering and of course a good dose of the aqua. It's one of those tracks where solid golf will give you plenty of birdie opps but on any given hole it's quite easy to get a bogey or worse. I enjoyed each nine equally with good variety to be found throughout. A fun and challenging course and once again, another terrific design. Cheers!

Not an overly spectacular course with its bare look on quite a few holes, mostly on the front 9, but it plays very smoothly and has some very nice tree-lined fairways and plenty of water hazards to keep you on your toes. On the front 9, my favorite holes are the left dogleg par-4 1st, with its tree-lined fairway and a tough second shot to reach the green (with a creek crossing in front from the left side), the left dogleg par-5 6th hole, with water on the left side and another pond on the right near the green, and the scenic par-3 8th hole, with water on the right side. The back 9 has some nice holss too, starting with the right dogleg par-5 11th, with another nice tree-lined fairway and a horseshoe-shaped pond around the green and the right dogleg par-4 12th hole, with a very narrow tree-lined fairway all the way to the green. My favorite hole is the very beautiful par-3 14th, with its nice island green, surrounded with a small wooden retaining wall, and with four small bunkers to watch for, and the right dogleg par-4 15th hole, with water on the left side (and across in front of the green), with a tee shot over trees if you want to shorten the distance. As for the sharp dogleg par-5 18th hole, it has a wide-open look and a big lake on the left side and is quite nice. Overall, this real par 72 course is quite pleasant and, as PhilT pointed out, could be even more eye-pleasing with a few more trees but, nevertheless, ron717 already did a nice job with it !

I played this without any problems at all. I found it to be a very beautiful course. I consider these type of courses to be "gems". Thanks so much ron for making this one available. Really enjoyed it.

I dont understand the crash problems either. It ran very smooth for me at highest settings. I dont think that this is a CA issue. Overplanting is certainly not an issue. Are these crashes occuring only during online play? If you are on the Vista platform, I would look there first. As far as the course is concerned, it is a solid design. Nothing real fancy or extraordinary from tee to fairway. Maybe a little more tree or plant variety would have enhanced the overall look. What I really liked was the way the water was designed around the majority of the holes to continuously bring it into play. The water textures unto theselves are first rate. Again, maybe a little more vegetation or rock structures in and around the water could have also added to the overall eye appeal. Nevertheless it still is a very good creation and a pleasure to play.

Sorry guys for the problems, you had with this course, I cant understand how, it plays well for some and not for others. If you still have it on your computer and have some spare time, remove the cls folder in the course folder and see if it will run for you. Thanks for the feedback and comments. I guess I push the CA too far on my designs or I have too many objects, trees, water or it could be my bunker lips. I shall try to resolve this in the future, I like to share my courses with the community to enjoy a few rounds on a course that may be new to most of our community, and maybe some will play the real course in the future due to playing my sim course. So I want to put out playable courses and not bad courses that no one will download.
