After reading all the comments below, especially the one from "jurgie", who seems to know the real course very well, I am not enough of an expert to judge whether the Sedona pano is the best one or not and if the course is really a true replica of the original one.
All I know is that it looks great (including the pano !) and it runs very smoothly. I like quite a few holes, especially the par-4 1st, the par-4 3rd - with its wide and long U-shaped bunker, the par-3 4th with the water around and the par-4 18th.
A definite keeper for me even though I did not see any bear (including Nicklaus !) nor any bip-bip or coyote !!!

Hi I have aproblem with this course. It loads ok and have used both CL set up
and new caddy to do so.
However every time I try to play a round it starts to load course then crashes to
desktop. Get a comment about Run Load as an error???? Have checked with caddy an
all libraries are there any ideas ? Other courses work fine.

I agree with the first comment it lags for me also even on default graphics settings, strange as all your courses have run smooth form me. did not finish a round as the lag was effecting the play. LOOKS nice though!

I love desert courses, and we have had a variety and different looking courses in past years. I think this course somewhat demonstrates certain issues concerning desert style courses in TW08. We are in desperate need of a variety of more desert panos, vegetation and rocks, boulders and other desert like structures. There is nothing wrong technically with this course. It is a very good design the course runs very smooth with no lag at 1680x1050 at highest settings. One of the problems again is the Sedona Pano. A very nice pano, but it is the Sedona Pano. The real course bears little resemblance to this one because of it. The holes are layed out in a similar fashion to the real course but somehow never capture the true atmosphere and ambience that this course has in reality. For those unfamiliar with the real course, every hole is fashioned in design after an existing hole from a variety of well known courses. Because of this unique layout, the real course offers a variety of panoramic views and terrain which in my opinion is almost impossible to truly recreate given the limitations of the CA as it stands now. After several holes it became somewhat repetitious to me. It is still however a very nice desert design and should be enjoyable to a lot of people.

good looking desert course, but it has a slight lagginess that makes it not playable for me. great job tho. and for those that have a system to handle it, youll most likely love it. thanks for your efforts.
