Once again, another nice course from Axe360, with a beautiful panorama (mountains and lakes) to look at, but relatively easy with spacious fairways and sparse plantings and not too many tricky greens. In fact, the "toughest" holes are the doglegs, such as the sharp dogleg par-4 3rd hole, with a very big pond on the left side or the sharp right dogleg par-5 4th, with a big tree in the middle of the fairway in the corner, and a nice panoramic view as you reach the elevated green. Two other noteworthy holes are the right dogleg par-4 8th, with a nice little pond and a couple of rocks in front of the green, on the left side, and the very short (less than 440 yards !) left dogleg par-5 9th hole, with an undulated fairway and another small pond to the left of the green (with the clubhouse behind) and where you should be able to putt for an eagle. On the back 9, I like the par-4 12th hole, with an approach shot over a small lake across midway through (with a nice small bridge on the left and one of the trees... in the water on the right !) and a green, slightly to the right but, my favorite hole is the right dogleg par-5 14th, with a big hollow wasteland halfway through and a tiny u-shaped pond in front of the green, more picturesque than the left dogleg par-4 17th, with trees hiding part of the downhill green. If you want to enjoy a stress-free round of golf, Lake Elsinore CC is the place to be with its realistic look and pleasant atmosphere, thanks to axe360's talented design.

Another excellent creation by Axe and again, the realism is second to none. A beautiful, relaxed country-side setting and a well-crafted layout make for very pleasant golf - and this design nails it. A relatively easy course but we sure need them occasionally, especially amongst the many beasts in the fantasy field. My fave hole was the par 4 8th, with as dainty a pond as you'll ever see - gorgeous. Great stuff, had loads of fun, cheers!

The only reason I did not give this course a 5 was because the greens seemed slightly unnatural in some spots and there was a lot of open space. Other than that, I think this course was really well-done. The bunkering was great, the rock formations and pond walls were terrific, and it was a well laid out course.

Thank you jmeier, this will help me out alot. I really appreciate you taken the time to give me some feedback.. I like your idea of maken a course for the terrain, as this has been one of my most difficult areas to learn.. Thanks again..

The execution of creating this course is very well done. Bunkers are very realistic and well built, the greens putt very well and maybe a bit on the easy side. The texture choices were excellent. It has a good amount of visual appeal. Technically the course played flawlessly. I felt the terrain overall was a bit flat and the elevations didnt quite seem natural, or flow together. The creation of the elevation was done very well, but in a way it felt manufactured. The rock retaining wall around the pond on the front nine was superbly done!!! The planting had a good start, but it gave a bit of a felling of a newly built golfcourse, being able to see all the way across it. The pano fit the course very well. Overall the course is very well done and a pleasure to play. The skill of the designer is obvious in looking at the details. I would maybe suggest trying one of Homeboys plots and do a course, making a course for the terrain, rather than making the terrain for the course. Very nice work. Look forward to the next.
