I have aches and pains all over my shoulders after hitting all these powerful shots off the tee : this course is very nice but quite long !
Well designed, one more time by ron717, it plays very smoothly. Textures are nice, plantings are not overdone and those bunkers... they are something else !
As expected, a lot of holes are near the lakes and you really have to be careful with your tee and/or approach shots. On the front 9, I like the par-4 2nd hole with those very, very long bunkers lining the fairway, the par-4 6th over the water and very colorful, and the par-5 8th, similar to the 6th hole.
On the back 9, the par-5 11th with the lake dividing the fairway is nice and so is the colorful par-3 13th. But don't overlook the tough par-5 18th with the green hidden by the trees and with water in front.
In short, even though it is a... long course, it is worth keeping, thanks to ron717 !

I am somewhat perplexed as to the issues people are having with this course. I have now played the first version of this course 3 times the first time as a single, and the next two times with three other computer players. This course runs as smooth as anything I have played in 08 with absolutely no lag at 1680x1050 with all applicable settings set to highest. If anyone should have lag or crash issues it should be me. I have 75 custom courses currently installed in the game with all required libs, so I dont have to tell you how many libs are downloaded to the game. I dont have a Monster System. Intel 3gig processor, Gigabyte dual bios motherboard, Nvidia 7950 GT card with Viewsonic 22 Widescreen. I am also using the original video card driver that came on the installation disc along with card. This driver version has been very stable in all games that I play. I would be curious to know, of all the people who are having issues with this course, how many of you are operating on the Vista Platform and how many are running XP? Furthermore, any Nvidia graphic card users having these issues? I dont think this is an actual problem with the course itself. This sounds more like a configuration or harware issue. I would even go as far as to say that Vista might be the culprit in regards to these issues.

I played Ver. 2 all the way through with no problems. It looks nice and plays nice.

Ron, theres nothing wrong with this course at all. The only negative I can find is that its a bit easy (I shot -8) but certainly no worse than many of the courses out there.
