Hello Hacker49, i fixed the file for the crashing waves in the zipfile, so you don t have to rename it anymore. Just uninstall the course, redownload the zipfile for the course, and reinstall the course with TWCaddie08, and it should show the crashing waves. ( For example Hole 16 and 17 shows the crashing waves ) ( Note: Its possible you have to delete your cookies first in your browser before you redownload the course )

Hi Hiker Bob. Love this course but cannot see the ocean waves. Your instructions say to rename the file cypresspoint.ini. Which file gets renamed, please? I originally downloaded the course with TW Caddie 08, but I can unzip it with other programs if necessary. Thank you.

Simply gorgeous ! From the beautiful inland holes on the front 9, the course then becomes spectacular from the 13th hole until the 18th ! The stretch of the 14th hole, 15th and one of the greatest holes ever - the 16th (with crashing waves and sound) will make you want to play this course again and again. If you add the superb panorama and the perfect color of the ocean, you end up with a masterpiece. Fantastic job, Bob !

No surprise this course is near the top of the most downloaded page & it deserves its rating. Some earlier admiring comments are from other top designers - ditto their remarks about that stunning run of holes on the back 9. This is the second of Hiker Bob's courses I've played & as there are only 3 of his in TW08, I'm going straight to Cape Kidnappers...

This a wonderful rendition of a great course. Thanks so much for your efforts. My only quibble is that this is the only course that I can not get the water effects to show.

Definitely top 10 of all-time for TW'08. A true masterpiece in every sense of the word and I don't throw compliments around alot. This one stays on the HD until the day I uninstall this game for good.

Echoing the previous comments, this is a wonderful rendition of this course. The elevation and texture work is superb. Holes 15 and 16 - par 3's over the ocean - are fantastic. In fact, #16 may be the best hole I've ever played in cyber golf. Its great to see and hear the waves crashing against the cliffs.
My only (very minor) gripe are the overheads for holes #5 and #8. The fairway at the corner of the dog legs are right at the limit of the display. I would have liked a little more of the rough to be shown to give an indication of what happens to the ball if I mis-place a shot.
That will not stop me playing this course again and again. If only EA's stock version of Pebble Beach was as good as this!!!
Thanks Hiker Bob.

I could not locate Cypress Point Pano here either palriaan. It is available over at TWC however. Brent, this is just a beautiful design of a great golf course. The blending of the textures is superb. I always cringe when a custom ocean course is released, because I know it is hard to get them to look realistic. You are as good as anyone with ocean panos however. Kudos for creating the waves, another toughie to pull off, but it sure adds to the atmosphere of the course. Splendid work, but then I personally like all your creations.
