I dont hate the word Fantasy, because in course design I think there is a destiction between fantasy and fictional. Fantasy to me implies a course that has exaggerated terrain features like gigantic canyons or bluffs to negotiate. In addition, the fairways and or greens may have extreme undulations not to mention buildings or course objects that you would never see on an actual golf course. There is nothing wrong with that type a design, if that appeals to you. Fictional courses in my mind are courses that could be, but are not. When I play simulated golf, I would like that experience to be as close to the real game as possible. I was not implying that one style was better than another. Realism is just my personal preference. Jimis been around the designing game for quite a while and his designs show great technique. For that reason, I look forward to a design from this architect that does not necessarily have to be based on a real course a fictional one would do just as well.

I dont really understand the preference of so many players for real courses. This is a fantasy game after all, even the real courses are only someones expression of what they think the course in question is supposed to look like. I believe many real courses have been created by architects who have never actually been there. So the line between real and fantasy is blurred anyway. I always try to make my courses look as though they could be a real place. I figured for some of them i could have taken the name of some obscure golf course that nobodys ever heard of, call it a real course and nobody would be any the wiser, lol. But that would be cheating. Nonetheless I have been asked to contribute to a real course, which i intend to do. So look for my version of Silver Rock Resort sometime next month. I hope the course is famous enough. I never heard of it, lol.

Jimi, your fictional courses(I hate the word FANTASY LOL) have proven to be right there with the best of them and this one is no exception. I,like the last poster would like to see your rendition of a famous real course. I tried to think of one that hasnt aready been done, but came up empty.

As in so many of your other creations, you once again show great imagination and solid design technique. I for one am not a great Fantasy Course fan however, and tend to stay away from them. I would be very happy to see some designs of yours that lean more towards a realistic type of terrain. I think you could come up with some courses that would be standouts.

Very nice course with tough undulating greens, was nice to see Tiger Woods go into some ones back garden (which was not out of bounds) and demolish their flower beds trying to get the ball out. No lag issues and i really enjoyed it
