A beautiful course, with plenty of blind tee shots over small shrubs (facing the tee boxes) landing onto undulated fairways, with strategically-placed bunkers and lakes to watch for on the front 9, and more wide open on your way back. On the front 9, I really enjoyed the pretty par-4 1st hole, with its undulated fairway hugging an elongated lake, midway on the left, the scenic par-3 2nd, with its blind and slightly-uphill tee shot over some bushes and a lake, landing onto the green, surrounded three-quarters of the way by an elongated bunker (with a little windmill further back, on the left), and the nice right dogleg par-5 3rd, with a blind tee shot, slightly-uphill, landing near an elongated lake, midway (on the left), over which you will have to hit a very long second shot to get close to the green. Then, after the short and straight par-4 4th hole, with a wide and serpentine bunker in front of the green and the lake (on the left), you will move on to the scenic par-3 7th, with a blind tee shot over more shrubs, deep rough and a lake (diagonally flowing across the fairway), before walking over to the tricky par-5 8th, with a blind tee shot over a few bushes, up front (and a lake), and a long second shot between (or above) trees on the edge of another lake to reach the green. You will finish the front 9 with the right dogleg par-4 9th, with another blind tee shot landing onto an undulated fairway, and with an elongated lake, next to the green (on the right). The back 9 is not as challenging, but has some nice holes too, such as the left dogleg par-5 11th, along trees (on the left), and a green, set next to an elongated lake (on the left), reachable on your second shot, and the par-3 12th, with a blind tee shot over a lake flowing diagonally (with a nice wooden barn and water wheel on the edge, on the right). As for the par-3 17th hole, it is also quite pretty with a blind tee shot flying above a small lake... Overall, with a few bird sounds to keep you company, this par 72 is delightful to watch, with nice plantings and water hazards, even though its "Georgia Trees" panorama looks a little bit unusual (not up to par with the rest of the course) and you should not have a poker face at the end of your round after flashing your final (score)card with a... Royal Flush !
