One of my favorites, just the kind I like, elevation and pretty much pure golf - not so much the "eye candy" JBMac mentioned, which generally doesn't catch my eye anyway. I stay pretty focused on fairways, greens and holes, and on this course you need to do that. Thanks, Barry, for you work on this one.

Anybody home ? I really got scared playing this course as I was... all alone ! Not a soul nearby, not a house nearby, no trees, no bush, no ocean : just a very nice sunlit background which makes this links course quite interssting as you really have to concentrate on your shots... and nothing else ! With plenty of undulated fairways, elevated greens, and a few blind shots, not to mention some bunkers and your usual amount of high rough, this par 71 can play tricks on you, especially on some slopey greens. The last three holes (the long left dogleg par-5 16th, the downhill par-3 17th and the left dogleg par-4 18th) are a good summary of what you will face on this course where, strangely, the camera angles came changing after I hit my tee shots, giving me a different perspective not seen on some other courses. Overall, as BJMac pointed out, this course is not the most spectacular one you will ever play, but it is quite challenging, at times, and worth playing...

Superb design. This is a really absorbing course - great variety in the layout and terrain where no two shots feel the same. Two holes stood out for me - the difficult 4th, with its small crowned green, and the par 4 12th, with a fairway swale near the landing area that's almost like a sinkhole! I also thought the pin-placements throughout were very well done - made for very enjoyable and natural putting. It's not an eye-candy course, so if that's high on your wish list you'll be disappointed.. but if you're after fascinating terrain and exciting golf, look no further - this is a ripper design. Cheers!

My third download by Barry. I wasn't as impressed with this one as much as the other two that I downloaded. This course I know is more a links style but it just doesn't seem finished to me. Not sure about the color textures used here. Not one of my favorites.

I still get a bit of lag on this one, strange I do not know why, better than the V1 course though. I tried several settings but still a bit slow

Just tried the new version, much improved performance. I mean frame rates not my golfing. Thanks Barry.
