A very challenging course with plenty of elevation, high rocks, big lakes and other water hazards with nice plantings and panorama to look at. The front 9 is quite tough with plenty of downhill/uphill shots with water coming into play on a lot of holes (par-4 1st with the river flowing across the fairway twice, gorgeous par-3 2nd, with water on both sides of the elevated green and par-4 3rd hole with two uphill shots with the river flowing down on the left side of the fairway). The par-4 5th hole is quite scenic with its overall downhill view of the lake and its tiny green, surrounded by rocks and sand, just like the par-5 6th, with a tee shot over the lake and a steep uphill green next to a small cascade. As for the par-4 9th, with its tee shot flying above hilly rocks plunging into the lake, it is quite pretty too. The back 9 is not a piece of cake, either, with plenty of nice holes, such as the par-3 10th, with a downhill green, surrounded by high rocks, or the left dogleg par-5 11th hole, with its rollercoaster fairway near a deep lake. The par-4 14th hole, with its tee shot flying to the other side of the hill, has a great overview of the whole valley. I also like the gorgeous par-3 16th hole where the green is located on the other bank of a volcano-like deep lake, and the very tough and long downhill par-5 18th hole, with its tee shot flying high above a lake with, way to the left, the downhill green and the clubhouse. Overall, this par 72 is fun to play and watch, even if the textures used for the rocks are not really natural-looking, but that's a small price to "pay" to enjoy this imaginative course designed by bullaguard !

An awesome course! As HughJassKoda said, the elevation work is incredibly well made. Another truly masterpiece.
If you hate the "flatness" then download this great course!
PS : greens are fast.

I had to come back to say what a fantastic course you have made here! The elevation work on this course is outstanding! Great planning went into the design of this course and it shows on ever hole. I give this one 5 squares and a thumbs up.
*** STAY AWAY FROM DRY AND VERY DRY GREEN ON THIS ONE IF YOU WANT TO COMPLETE A ROUND ***

I think this is one of the most difficult courses in TW 08 cyclus. You need to play very precisely and you need SOME LUCK too. It goes up and down all the time and waters, rocks and bunkers don't make life easier. But after all, certainly A 4 FOUR STARS COURSE (excellent)

I know it says fantasy, but is this based on or inspired by either the Black Bears in MN or NJ? Just curious...
