What a big surprise on the 1st hole as the camera moved backward all the way to the tee box before going forward, and then stopping again at the tee box, showing a distance for this par-5 of... 84 yards ! Faced with this very unusual bug, I was ready to quit until I tried the hole in practice, only to find out that it... worked fine (with the find flag option, I was able to see the hole and its... 511 yards !). But how to make it work during a normal round ? Well, call it "feminine intuition" or whatever, I decided to turn "off" the animated trees and, bingo, everything worked like a charm (which should please raylloyd7 and mascarpone !). As it turned out, this hilly course is quite nice, especially on the back 9, more scenic and challenging. If you add those exotic bird songs, you will have a good time playing this par 72 in Sydney. If the now-famous dogleg par-5 1st hole is pretty, with its small lake on the left side and a small creek crossing the fairway midway, the best holes, as BJMac pointed out, are on the back 9, with the two par-4 10th and 11th holes and the par-3 12th. The first one is a left dogleg with a lake on the left side, whereas the latter is a right dogleg with a very nice overview of the lakes beyond the green. The 12th hole is quite scenic with its big lake between the tee box and the green. I would also add the very pretty par-4 13th hole, with its nice houses on the right side of the fairway, surrounded by nice flowers, and the similar par-5 14th. With its lush environment and hilly landscape, you will have fun playing this course, provided that you like the free "concert" offered by those birds...

Excellent rendition of a great Sydney course. As a Sydneysider myself, Bruce has captured the look and feel (and certainly sound) of the area superbly. The course itself is a very good one - the greens perhaps a little unwelcoming at times but I managed pretty well on dry - and the layout is strong. The back 9 for me is the clear winner, beginning with three terrific holes in 10-11-12. I enjoyed it all the way and was awesome to see and play one from my 'backyard'. Great design, cheers!

This is another good course but I had a big problem with Hole 1! Where is the flag? I can't go through this hole if I want to play the whole course. The minimap is buggy as well.
It's a shame because it could have been a great course.

The greens are very tuff. The fairways are very nicely layed out.

A very nice course. looks good and plays well except for a couple of the greens - specifically 3 and especially 16. On 16 with dry greens and difficult pin placement, if you putt past the hole, the ball rolls back to where you putted from. the green has unfair slope. other than that I really enjoy the course given that I come from Sydney and have played Terry Hills
