Is this similar to the 2007 PGA Championship layout, or is this a different version, as Avenged1337 said?

Okay, after moving on to other courses to install I found the right file Ts_n_Stakes by J Merkle and that got Southern Hills working. It's not linked with your course and that might be stopping a few people from commenting. I have only tried the first six holes of your course, so far, but it does play for crisply under very dry conditions. I can't wait to try it in bad weather. Great work!

When I try to install this course the installer asks for Ts_n_Stakes, which is already installed as Ts_n_Stakes 2004? Not sure how to proceed.

As Avenged said it is a good course and well designed, Im actually suprised there were not more comments, because its darned good! The planting is very good, texture choices smart and the best for quality. General elevation and design is very well done. Playing this course at very dry in expert (tournament play) proved to be a real challenge ..even more its a fun course to play. Its real smooth and has a great flow to it. A few of the V2 pins are still touch and go on very-dry greens but they are playable. A real good job on the fix ,Jay, this is an excellent course design!
When we pick courses for the PGAX, they are picked on the design aspects only and were pretty fussy about which well use, so designers should take pride in this.
Designs that have any lag or crashing issues, cannot be played at very-dry from every pin, use a lot of unneeded libraries, or where eye-candy was used to counter flaws, has creases or tears, poor planting... is not real smooth or does not mimic tournament quality in expert mode play- will not be used.

We tested for PGAX tour on very dry greens, played very well and we will use it on PGAX event.
Very nice course.....
Important note: When you play online with friends, all players will have to use V2,or all players will have to use V1.
When you mix versions game will freeze on first hole (version conflict).
