An excellent and unique course, and an awesome design. The layout is a quality one, real or otherwise, with lots of variety, and a lovely balance of difficulty - hard at times, forgiving at others, almost perfect. It plays really well and looks delightful. This is impressive stuff and a bus-load of fun, kudos ZB, cheers!

Thanks for your thoughts and comments about this course.
The reason I chose Serbannes was because my parents retired to the village a few years back and I now go over each Summer and Xmas to visit. Whilst there, I get to play the real course (Golf de la Forêt de Montpensier as it is really called)as well as at my Fathers club, Vichy. I was unable to recreate the real Montpensier at the time of this release as I couldnt find the DEM nor did I take any photos of the course.
I am however wanting to do a version for 08 and as the clubs owner and the two Pros are family friends, I know that any info I require will not be an issue.
However, I am currently involved in the PGAX Tour 2008 as a designer and my workload is currently a tad heavy. I aim to have an 08 version of Montpensier by late Summer, so hope you can wait!

I enjoyed the course all the more for having played on the real one. Congratulations. My village is not far from Serbannes - Cournon dAuvergne. ZB, have you thought of doing other courses in the region. e.g. Mont Dore, Orcine, Charade or even the clever par course in Riom?

hey zb just played this course with you and had no problems.its a fantastic course with a lot of challenge
(about time).you need to play this course a few times to get used to where to land.takes a lot of thought. wish there were more like it. great job keep it up.

A quick comment for those who find this course crashes at hole#3. Before installing, unzip the file and then delete the CLS (or simply turn it off in options). Then install as normal. This should fix the problem for you. Cheers, zb

I have absolutely no idea as to why this course crashed on you guys. It has played perfectly well in all test conditions. Agree with Vex regarding landing area on #6, however I am slightly reluctant to update this aspect, as this was set as the V.Difficult position. If more than 3 comments are posted regarding this pin setting, I will of course update for you all. regards and Happy Christmas to all players! zb

played first 9 holes online with 2 others all finished nice course but ther is one green , the 6th ? where there is only a 3 foot landing zone where it is safe makes it just about unplayable you will know the green when you get there

Its to bad this course crashes on me after a few holes.Not sure why.Its the only one Ive had trouble with so far this year.Looks nice though.Hope others fair better
