This was the course that hosted the 2006 PGA, a famous battle between Tiger Woods and Englands Luke Donald. The course features water laden par 3s where a short tee shot punishes. A mixture of flat , tiered and some shapely greens. 3 sharpe dog legs and some narrow (but not all) fairways. A good test for a 3 clicker. It is a pleasure to play but slightly hard in difficulty wayward tee shots will damage your score card here it is no St Andrews. The course needs some careful thought in shot selection. There is some elevation here but it is not great.

The designer has concentrated on the greens and fairways in an obvious attempt to make them as realistic as possible. PLantings are not so accurate as designers like TeeOFFTowersly and Ken McHale who must spend hours ensuring a perfect look to the course. However the course is functional and the designer did accurately place trees which should come into play.

Signature holes - erm wel all the par 3s really - they are all a bit nerve wracking from the tee!

I liked it, and am concidering it as an addition to our tournament scheduled courses subject to agreement with the vice captains. I would give it an 8/10.
