I went to the Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC of Boston this morning ... about 30 minutes from where I live. I followed Tiger for about 6 holes and then went off exploring the course to see how my rendition compared to the real thing since I have never walked the course before.
In general, I would say that Im very pleased with how my version compares, but I made a list of things that Ill need to fix for TPC of Boston 07. First, the course is playing at 7,415 yards, not 7,488 yards. The 14th hole (the long par 4) plays from the back tees, rather than the pro tees ... so the yardage is 495 rather than 515. In the game, this would bring the group of bunkers on the left much more into play since youll have to decide whether to blast it over the bunkers or hit the safe shot to the right. Ill move the pro tee up in 07.
The 13th hole (with the tee shot up and over the ledge) plays at 443 yards, rather than 481. I discovered that the pros were playing from a second tee box (that wasnt in aerial imagery), which is significantly closer than the pro tee I have in my version. This obviously makes the hole much more playable in a stiff headwind in the game. Nevertheless, with the Hurricane approaching, the wind was blowing today 15-25 mph headwind on that hole and I saw more than 1 pro not reach the fairway. Ill add a new tee box in 07.
Those will be the two most significant changes for the 07 version. The rest of the changes will be: Ƒ) tweaking the breaks on the greens based on my notes ƒ) adding deep rough/fescue in a number of places throughout the course and Ɠ) adding some more rock croppings.

Thanks so much for the kind words everyone. Ill be going to the Deutsche Bank Championship this weekend so I can see whether my rendition is close to the real thing ...
In TW 07, I plan to tackle two great courses in New Zealand Wairakei International and Cape Kidnappers and I hope to do them justice. Also, the real life course architect of Kingswood, Darrell Huxham, asked me to try to re-create one of his other courses La TempĂȘte outside of Quebec City. Hes sending me his grading drawings and a bunch of photos. See you again soon ...
