What a contrast after just finishing playing "Desert Pines 06" by kaishodo ! I was expecting a course set in the desert and I spent the entire time playing inland, seeing the sand far away... Don't expect any cactus, desert plants or pine trees here but it will play nicely and there are lots of dogleg holes to challenge you. Regarding the "famous" 7th hole, I had no problem at all hitting my approach shot to the... left of the flag and the ball rolled nicely to within 5 feet for a birdie. I was more troubled by the 8th hole where it is almost impossible to hit your tee shot past and/or over the trees obstructing this par 3 hole. Greens are a little bit tricky at times but if you don't overdo it, you can get opportunities for birdies.
P.S. Course played with TW07 in novice mode, calm winds but with pro tees & difficult pin placement settings.

petro, play your shot to the green short and too the right side this will leave you an uphill putt with a left break of about 6 9 clicks to the right. if you go for the pin the ball will roll down hill with a nasty 3rd shot that almost impossible to make less than a dbl ot triple. i hope this help.

thanks petrohead for your comment. hole #7 pin placement is difficult but not impossible. Hit ypur approch shot to the right side of the green and short of hole high. this will leave you an uphill putt about 40 -50 feets and a break of about 6 -9 click rt or left i played this method at all levels and got basically the same result Note... if you leave yourself above the pin the hill will get you. I hope this help.

willie youve definately come a long way. this is damn near your best ever and is close to keeper-must-have status. the thing that keeps it from there is the 7th. the pin settings there have just got to be an oversite, if not, then ill just bite my tounge and remove the course as the pin setting there is completely insane. other than that willie, well done, gr8 course.
