davie, I cheat!
On both of my Something... courses - the path is an underlying surface - a big oval that the holes sit on. Everything fits together like a jigsaw puzzle in order to make it look reasonable. With respect to the path effect, this course worked out better than Something Ventured and it could be better still - with greater care and planning. You can also add some individual true paths here and there to complete the illusion.

Something Gained indeed, beautiful elevation work, smooth playing, plenty of challenge, good looking, no bells or whistles, just a solid design with a fantastic layout. A welcome addition to any custom lineup. Well done.

I hope someday to be able to create a course like this. Awesome Awesome job.
Smooth as pie and tough as nails..
I havent had this much fun on a course in a long time.
This is the best fantasy course I have played in 06. Not one bit of lagg either.
Congratulations Engineer to say well done, would be an understatement. Fantastic job.
  PEACE
