fyi we did figure out with the help of many over at twc that it is an ati issue that can be somewhat helped by setting clear and noon weather. there seem to be no problems at all for non-ati users. for ati users this thread may be of help:

Ok well thanks anyway. No idea what it is and guessing its not an ATI issue because I dont have this problem with any other course but oh well. Even tried unisntalling and re-installing the video drivers but that didnt fix it either. Looks like most arent having problems with it and sounds like its a beauty. Sorry to take away from the course reviews JM.

No one let my problems with this one stop you from downloading this one. Sounds like its a great one.

My best guess wud be the ati, Ive read of a lot more problems with different aspects of tiger06 with ati cards then nvidia cards at the forums over at the twc. Sorry i cant be of much help.

JM,
Do you have an Nvidia or ATI card? Just checking something.

1 more thing maybe you could try is deleting the cls folder, that sometimes clears up problems.

I dont know what to say, maybe its the brand of vid card cuz Ive played this course with tons of people and its been fine for all of them. Is it only on the 1st hole your seeing this or all around the course. I just have a bottom line integrated card and its fine. Anways hope you get ti working.

Im seeing the same thing as pjwhoopie59. Dark all over and I have a good 256mb card. I even played in the morning with settings down and was just ugly dark as sin. I cranked UP the settings and it got a little better but still way too dark. Going to have to check w/someone else what it is if youre not sure Jmwall. Thanks. Looks like itll be nice if I can ever get it lighter.

Hmm not sure about the dark thing, maybe just turn some settings down, its gotta be a shadows thing with al the trees. Maybe try tweaking some of the tree settings and see if that helps.
