Loaded fine, but I too agree that the greens are quite disagreeable at any setting. All your other courses offer a serious challenge (which is why i have and play them all), but Shadows greens are a major fault in an otherwise stellar design....sorry

Old timer here from all the way back to PGA2000. Didnt have one single problem with this course the whole way through. Never crashed, never did anything. I wouldnt release it again. Its fine. Im thinking maybe some arent completely versed at installing courses completely yet?
My only problem was with the slopes of the greens. I played on easy pins and average greens and some of those pin placements were really unfair. Way too slanted for my taste. The course is beautiful to look at, but the greens left a bad taste in my mouth. I can only imagine how unfair they are on dry or very dry.
Beauty to look at though! 6/10

There my be a conflict with too librarys They are both named the same put the one you use on your couses is 577_wingedfoot 998kb
And one in a course called Angus Hills 577_wingedfoot this one is a lot larger file 5.19 MB
And if you download both they will over wright each other
This most likely is why some people have a problem and some dont .

hey jeff the same thing happens to me when i loaded the course and libraries and i do have the course arcetect program loaded. I did read an article by the guy that makes clsetup and cloaking tool. too many libraries loaded in the game can cause problems with course arcetect program. i have witnessed it because i was creating a course and my course arcetect screen turned white and i couldnt get my course to load in arcetect. after that i cloaked some libraries and course arcetect loaded normal.

One other thing like I stated before on any other course you get an error about missing libraries, but not this one it downloads just fine . But when you go to play this one right at the end of load red bar it crashes to desk top. Are you saying this one and only this one requires something different than any of the other 40 or so courses I have that work just fine. If so you have lost me , I bet I have all of the libraries you have on my PC havnt tried over 150 or more of courses on this web site. And when I remove courses I dont like , I leave all the libraries install just in case another courses needs them. Also I use CLsetup for installing courses that works just great by the way.

abslayer, it has been stated on this site time and time again, DOWNLOAD THE COURSE ARCHITECT. You only have to do it once. It is something we tell everyone because those libraries are needed for almost every single custom course out there. Im just sick and tired of people not taking the time to READ the FAQs that we have put out there. There is one that specifically mentions these libraries if you get an error about missing libraries. This is also mentioned in the FAQ about how to install courses in the first place. Theres also a stickied forum message about what to do if you are getting crashes to the desktop, which also mentions these libraries. How many times do we have to answer this question? Yet archs are continually getting blasted for creating courses that crash even though it is their problem because they didnt take the time to do 2 minutes worth of research. If that is getting on a high horse, well then, Giddy-up Silver!

abslayer, his statement is a lot of help if you actually DO IT! Did you even bother to read my comment that I posted afterward? The 06 Course Architect installs ARCHITECT LIBRARIES that are NOT listed as required on this course or any other custom course. It is YOUR responsibility to download that program and install it so you get the libraries. A majority of the crash-to-desktop problems users have would be fixed if they download the CA and install it so they get the libraries. But users dont want to take the time to read instructions anywhere. They would rather jump all over the arch for making a course that doesnt work. The information about needing the CA is in TWO different FAQs in our forum, one of which I have already provided a link for in this very set of course comments. But did anyone bother to look at them? NO!

eppiedad, this has been addressed before. The libraries are intentially NOT LISTED because they are ARCHITECT LIBRARIES that can be obtained if someone downloads the COURSE ARCHITECT program from EA Sports web site. We do not list those libraries on ANY course and any arch that does list them will have them removed from the list. This question has been answered time and time again and that is why there is a post in the Tutorials/FAQ forum about it, if anyone would take the time to look there. But of course they dont and we end up with lots of people griping and complaining that they cant get a course to run. Everyone...READ THE FAQS!!!!

Im not an admin but Im guessing those arent listed as they are EA libs that come with the Course Architect when you download and install it. I dont believe you can download just the libs separately, you have to goto EA sports site and download the CA.

That is what I thought ,so downloaded everthing once again and it still crashes to desk top right before couses loads. This is the only course this happens with. I have know idea why if you guys are not having trouble. In other couses if I was missing a library it would stop the load right at the start this one does it just before course comes on screen.
