I think the hole design was pretty good. The aesthetics need some work, though. Being a person who appreciates realness in fantasy courses, the presentation didnt strike a chord with me. Still, I think a few tweaks would make this course a good one. As was said, some of the greens are flat, and the surrounding terrain is walled similar to using the flatten tool in CA. Again, if thats the effect you want, then it worked, but for me Id rather see smooth contours that work themselves into the green. I also thought that the water hazards could be lowered a little to make them more realistic. Otherwise, I thought it was neat to have a course with all 3s and 5s, and for the most part they each have a unique identity. Hopefully an experienced constructor can give you some tips on how to tweak the course to bring out its greatness.

There are a # of excellent designers here and at twc as well as tutorials on both sites, that can offer helpful and constructive advice on making a splash, and custom flags, as well as beta testing of the course and adding the cls folder, just leave a message in the forum here or in the designers forum at twc, as i said cartpath is one of the best for beta testing of courses,

thanks for comments bruce . would love to learn how to do some of your suggestions . this was my first course and it was a real bite to get the architect to recompile it for the update. thought i was not going to be able to get the update out at all had to reinstall my operating systems to get the architect to work again. if ya know someone that could maybe teach me how to do some of your suggestions i would love to meet up with them. i may do one final update if i learn how to make your suggested repairs but as it stands right now this is it. and i did learn alot from this one. and hopefully when NIGHTMARE CANYON comes out later this year it should show the improvement in my course designs. thanks again the major

Ah i appreciate the effort but no, for me no problem with the librarys, but others will baulk at downloading it because of it, also if the custom sounds didnt come out right why continue useing the original sound file then create a 2nd version, one of the sounds is like a looney toon wether this was intentionjal or not i do not know, you have 3 different sound librarys in use for this courseand know it doesnt work. Know the picture looks great so why not use it convert the jpeg to a tga file and give the course a splash, also if your going to have all these sounds why not give the course a course Life system (cls folder), also you have written up a pretty good deion so why not put it into notepad and give it a course text, also a custom flag with that same jpeg would look great, as for the course itself the planting is all wrong, second hole was a nightmare par5, you should at least have the chance to hit over them from a distance, small fairways made getting a big score a nightmare, and i noticed a tear in the water on some holes. as this is a update i think getting a fulll review from someone like golfcart could go along way as this course still needs a certain amount of beta testing
