Tiger Woods once called either 'Shinnecock Hills'....and/or Bethpage Black (was it both?) the most difficult golf course that he had ever seen -at the time that he first ever played this course, during a U.S. Open sometime around 2004.
I don't know how closely your design ....... *ahem* ....accurately 'replicates' the actual Shinnecock Hills: All of the fairways on YOUR Shinnecock Hills are RIDICULOUSLY-narrow.....lined with VERY, VERY DEEP, rough....and all greens seem to be UNBELIEVABLY-small......and encumbered by bunkers.
Due to the fact that I haven't......*cough*......become.......*cough*.....'good enough' to put much trajectory on many of my lower irons....and due to the fact that I still haven't progressed enough to have much distance 'off the tee' -even from the 'forward tee'- I still wasn't able to hit many fairways; many of my tee shots came up short. I spent a lot of time in very deep rough (which translated into an 'automatic bogey' whenever I missed a fairway off the tee).....didn't have my 'A-game'....playing this course with VERY FAST greens.......as a result I didn't exactly.......*ahem*.......shoot an 'admirable score.'
Your Shinnecock Hills course -whether it is a very accurate replication or not- is an extraordinarily difficult course under difficult conditions.....and a very nice course, nonetheless.

I had exactly the same problem with the Pebble Beach 2005 Library (for a different course download). In desperation, I installed the lib into the EA Sports folder ( I think), and blow me down, it worked. Somehow, the game found it and it seems to work fine.

Most of Hynos 2005 courses are playable in TW06 including Royal Troon, Muirfield and Carnoustie, so the British Links request below is a bit moot. Methinks Hyno will likely do some 06 versions. This one is certaionly a pleasant suprprise.
