Well its official all 3 Musketeers now have courses in play. After Scorp and Flag were up I didnt think it would be long and I was rt. My only complaint, other than the 04 lib, is the desert lib trees and bushes. They are older than the 04 birkdale trees and they rendered as flat strips of paper for me and some are laying on their side. I would like to see this course planted with the 06 troon desert trees and bushes. Not that there should be a v2 but maybe if you release it nxt yr and theres a 07 troon stock. Thats just an idea and personal thought thats not intended to take away from any intended looks the designer wanted on this course.

Now that its been played (with a fellow Arizonan online we know desert golf), I can say that 2 players have a personal favorite. My opponenet had nothing but good things to say about this course during our round. Kaishodo knows eye-candy and difficulty, and doesnt overdo either, but you will be well-challenged on this one. In other words the perfect desert cybergolf experience. My game was set for sunrise (us desert rats know when to play too) and the realism was superb. Some additional goodies for this course (flag, course notes & more) are available at TWC.

I really dug the 05 version, so I know this ones already a winner without having actually played it yet. This is a REAL course (actually the tougher of the 2 at the resort), and I have created the following paragraph from the resorts website (www.desertwillow.com). Feel free to copy & paste in to a Notepad .txt file and then use Course Utilities to install into the game as your Course Info:
Featured by the Smithsonian Institute Magazine for its environmentally sound design and construction, the Firecliff Course at Desert Willow measures 7,056 yards. In a true test of skill, golfers must negotiate their way around extensive natural areas, over 100 bunkers, and numerous water features. Hosted tournaments at Desert Willow have included the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Classic, Subaru Southern California Team Championship, Pepsi Tour Events and The Prestige at Palm Desert, an official NCAA event consisting of the top sixteen universities.
