Im sorry that you got kinda jumped here. Feedback, negative or positive is always ok, as long as its constructive in nature. Perhaps we misinterpreted your original comment but the way it was given didnt leave much room to think any other way. So to start over, if possible, there are some easy ways to fix your things you dont like if you have any desire to try the course again and w/o the 2 hangups u had. 1st to help with the choppy game play they lowering some of the game settings such as tree detail and a few others. You wont even notice that much diff in the looks of the course but the game should run smoother for you. 2nd you can manually remove or change the logo back or 2 a diff one by simply opening up the game face tab and rt there on the bottom u can click the rt or lft arrow buttons to find a new one. I think what hapened here was the uploader that they use here to make a tcx file has an extra setting that EAs doesnt and u can add the logo, which I did, not knowing or thinking it would automatically change someones personal logo. This is the 1st time Ive ever seen the option to add a logo to the compressed tcx but if I woulda though about it more then I woulda been able to give a good guess that it would install it for u with the other files in the tcx. Now we all know I guess and hopefully we can all still be friends!!

Actually, the only things I am amazed at are the comments from here. I have been cursed at, told I am asanine, and all simply from stating an opinion. I was in no way trashing the course, I bet the guy worked long and hard on it. I was simply stating an opinion, that I thought the picture was quite silly. I also have many courses on my computer, and this was the first one that had this level of choppiness. It was not a shot at the designer, it could quite well be my computer, though I have not experienced this level before.

The thing I have learned from this is that posting an opinion on here is a mistake.

Change it then. It wasnt even supposed to be an auto load thing. I dont know how it did or why unless its a jorgens deal but I have added custom logo replacements on many of my courses in the past and until today, if you didnt do it manually, it wouldnt do anything other than sit there in the folder. I also included (I was the one who uploaded this file for David because his isp is so slow) a custom load screen thats is the same file formant as the logo (.dds) These files are in no way harmful and r there for those who want to change the way things look when u are waiting for your game to load. The files cannot and will not cause any problems or extra lagging, installed or not, in your game play. Choppy play is a personal computer problem and not a good reason to give a designer negative feedback. If your comp cant run the course the designer isnt the one to blame. Sometimes simply turning down the graphics settings in the options to a more suitable setting for your specs works wonders. Just because you can run some courses fine with your settings to high for your hardware doesnt mean you are gonna be fine on all courses. Dont be offended by this please. I realize no1 wants to hear that their top of the line equipment, to them anyway, cant run this game on max settings or close to. So before you snap back just go in the settings and turns some stuff down then try it again. You will be amazed!!

This is an awesome course. Very fun to play. Quite a challenge on all settings and levels. The pano is amazing. I love the flat to mountainous look gives it enourmous depth. Great work, Harbish! Cant wait for more from you.

If you are having graphic problems turn some things down. But to trash this course based on a picture on the spalsh or scorecard is utterly and COMPLETELY asinine.

This is a great course. People who leave moronic comments based on silly reasons just show that they dont have an appreciation for what it takes to design a truly nice course.

Whitetail Ponds is very, very well done. It truly captures the feel of being in a nature preserve. It is a challenging course that makes for a very well thought out and fun round of golf in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend this course.

Chill, it was a dumb picture. The course was also very choppy. I took it off because of the picture, but the course didnt play very well to begin with. I probably wouldve taken off because of that. I dont care who the picture was of, it was a very stupid thing to have on there.

WTF r u talking about? A man sticking his tounge out at u caused you to have a bad round. I have been arond for a long time and I have to say that is the single most weird thing I have ever heard. The only thing I can think of that resembles what you are referring to is the custom logo that you can manually add to the game if you follow the instructions. If this man, who just so happens to be a picture Einstein, bothers you that bad then follow the same steps u used to add the file and go backwards to remove it. I dont know if the jorgens installer adds this automatically to the game but there are instructions added in the course folder that will help u remove this awful mans picture. lol. Robbed of a good round by none other than one of the smartest humans ever alive! Thats classic!!

This course played very choppy. Tee shots were fine, but after that everything I hit made the graphics incredibly choppy.

I also found the picture of a man sticking his tounge out on the scorecard absolutely ridiculous, and it caused me to take the course off my system.
