Seems most folk are getting this black effect with lots of downloaded courses.
GO TO EA SPORTS HOME PAGE. LOOK FOR DOWNLOADS AND YOUR SEE A PATCH THERE.
This patch does work a treat and fixes the problem that most have with the blackness.
Custom Course update/Patch
This update is required to play downloadable courses created with Course Architect 2005. The update also fixes intermittent disappearances of the shot meter.
Great course and had no problem with it.

Shadowrip, you just need to adjust the game settings. If that doesnt get rid of the problem then I would just delete the course.

In no way was I offended by anyones comments, in fact I appreciate each and everyone. I just feel bad that this graphic problem is apparently going to occur on every design I make. Ive talked to several other designers and they seem to think it cant be explained. Maybe Ill try another design in the near future and just hope....lol. Thanks everyone for the great comments!!!!

I sure wish I knew what was causing this, because I try to use 2005 libraries. I guess this will have to be my last design. I feel bad putting people through this. If somebody has an answer I would sure be interested. Until then, Im done designing courses. Sorry again for the headaches!!!

If your experiencing dark trees and weird colored bark, you may have to adjust your game option settings. Set water reflections and tree detail to low. I apologize for the problems, I must have a better graphics card then most or something. Not sure what the problem is.
