There are 2 graphics files in the zip archive for this course, one is the splash screen and the other is a course layout. It sounds like the layout graphic is mistakenly being installed as the splash screen. To fix this, go back into the zip archive for the course, extract the TGA file (not the BMP) into the directory where the course was installed, open up the Course Utilities program that came with TW2004, click on RiverLake 2004 and click Properties. There will be an area for Course Picture. Browse and find the TGA file you extracted. This will change the splash from the BMP to the TGA.
